That year, he played over 70 games in all competitions (he even played in the Olympic Games with Spain), a superhuman feat that ended with a serious injury to his right thigh. But now, Pedro Gonzalez Lopez (real name) is back on top, and it's showing in his team's results and play. The player is one of the team's metronomes, capable of clearing any ball cleanly, with excellent vision and astonishing alertness, even for his size. Project X Paris and soccer: a love story
At PXP, we're obviously delighted to be popular with a footballer of Pedri's stature. Because we're soccer fans too, but also because the brand has taken advantage of the 2022/2023 season to make a big splash in the world of football. Thanks in particular to several promotional spots broadcast during the World Cup 2022, a campaign that introduced the brand to millions of people during high-stakes matches such as the France/England semi-final. It's a real source of pride for us, and also for you, who are supporting us in ever-increasing numbers.
But our involvement in the world of soccer is not limited to commercials. We have also been major players in the Planète Rap 2 match Rappeurs VS Streameurs, which took place at the beginning of June. This gala match took place at Bobigny's Auguste Delaune stadium, and was organized in aid of the Abbé Pierre Foundation in its fight against inadequate housing. It was a great moment of entertainment, but also one of fellowship and mutual aid, values that soccer embodies and that we are happy to convey through these initiatives. In fact, we hope to be able to do it again for the first edition.
