One is a network humor phenomenon, the other a French rap prodigy. Above all, Kader Diaby and Boris Becker are two great buddies who are into urban culture, undermining, jokes - in short, real influencers of the new generation. And to our delight, they treated Project X Paris to an incredible shoot that goes back to the basics, to the origins of streetwear, with nods to American universities and the Nineties.

Two Internet phenomena

Since the emergence of social networks, street artists have found it much easier to connect with their audiences. Before, the doors of the mainstream media were often closed to artists from neighborhoods or minorities. Now, creators can connect directly with their fanbase and, if they persevere, make a living from their art. So we've seen an avalanche of talent from urban youth, whether in music, dance, comedy, street art or fashion, and all simply thanks to social networks. Kader Diaby 4Real and Mr Boris Becker are obviously part of this generation that has smashed it all thanks to the Web.

The first is a young rapper, influencer and humorist who has been on the scene for several years now. His first clips on his Youtube channel date back 4 years ago, when he was barely 18, and he was exploding on the networks, thanks as much to his talent on the mic as to his humor and insolence. Today, Kader Diaby 4Real has more than 10 million views on TikTok, several million on Youtube and, above all, a distinct and recognizable identity. Even when it comes to rap, Kader doesn't do the same thing as everyone else: with instrusions that stand out from the usual mainstream, complex flows and humorous phases, he cultivates his originality, and that's what makes him so strong.

The second is a veritable superstar of web humor, particularly pranking and hidden camera work. Mr Boris Becker, who started pranking people on the street in 2017, notably with that badly imitated fake English accent that's one of his running gags. His videos also feature a lot of little dance steps, and for good reason: before he was a web-famous comedian, he was a dancer, and a good one at that. But 5 years later, the Belgian Youtubeur has 2 million followers on Insta, 45 million views on TikTok and a buzz that just keeps on growing. It has to be said that his pranks are terribly effective. And what he has in common with Kader 4Real, in addition to having immersed himself in urban cultures, is that they're both big fans of sapes, fashion and streetwear.

The two stars in an incredible Project X Paris shoot

And just as well, because here at PXP, we love influencers with a genuine love of streetwear. So we organized a big outdoor shoot, with the two long-time friends wearing streetwear that paid homage to cult streetwear models. The capsule University for example, features timeless streetwear pieces such as the Bomber jacket University. This jacket is a fashion staple, imported directly from American culture in the 90s, and worn by many rappers, athletes (mainly baseball and basketball) and actors at the time. Boris Becker chose black, for an ultra-stylish street look, with loose-fitting jeans. Kader Diaby opted for green, brighter, more relaxed and also very effective, again with loose-fitting jeans.

Visit signature sweatshirt was also a big hit with the two buddies. The model is timeless, all-purpose, truly one of the highlights of our catalog, and we're happy to see it adopted by the two influencers. Here again, Boris Becker pays homage to the 90's with his signature hoodie white worn with a baggy jeans Kader Diaby, on the other hand, went for the trends of the new generation, a little more exuberant and always on the lookout for originality. As for Kader Diaby, he followed the trends of the new generation, a little more exuberant and always looking for originality, with this pink men's jogging suit that also works very well, all with the matching satchel, the killer detail.

Finally, we also have to talk about the patchwork capsule A big success, and we're very proud of it. Certain pieces were completely sublimated by Kader Diaby 4Real and his terribly effective outfit: the elastic denim yoke jeans, which go with almost everything. With this, the men's denim jacket with yokes, for a successful patchwork effect. Add to this a little hoodie and a good pair of Nike shoes, and you've got a 100% streetwear outfit that's highly original, but at the same time harks back to the basics of American-style clothing. These may well be the prettiest shots of the shoot, but that's for you to decide!

At Project X Paris, we're very proud to be endorsed by two such talented influencers, proof that the brand continues to make its mark among those at the cutting edge of style. What's more, Kader Diaby 4Real and Mr Boris Becker are two really engaging, funny personalities who are at ease on shoots, and it's a pleasure to work with them. We look forward to working with them again, and wish them all the best for the future from the PXP team!
