Match Planète Rap 3: the recap

The third edition of the now-famous Match Planète Rap took place on June 9. A football match organized for the Fondation Abbé Pierre, featuring a carefully selected cast of rappers and influencers, all set in a legendary location in the 93, the cradle of urban culture in France. Project X Paris was once again a partner of the event, which was a huge success.|NEXT|Under a clear sky, the 3rd edition of the Match Planète Rap was held at the Auguste Delaune stadium in Bobigny on Sunday, June 9. The venue, home to FC 93 Bobigny Bagnolet Gagny, was packed at the start of summer to watch the match, now a must-see event for football and urban culture fans in the Paris region. In this large stadium with a 400-seat stand, the participants gave their all to support the Fondation Abbé Pierre, to which all event proceeds were donated.|NEXT|The Fondation Abbé Pierre initiated the event, supported by the historic French rap radio Skyrock. The foundation works to provide housing access for the most disadvantaged, a cause close to all our hearts. Organizing a big event with rappers and influencers and donating the proceeds was an initiative Project X Paris was eager to join. We also love being associated with events involving football and rap, and since both were on the program, it was a perfect match! To animate the afternoon, concerts were organized featuring the best rappers present that day. Indeed, there was a great lineup, as in the previous two editions!|NEXT|Now that Match Planète Rap is well established, many familiar faces return each year to perform. Among rappers, Beendo Z was present again in 2023 and is certainly one of the hottest rappers with the ball at his feet. At every event linking football and rap, he dazzles the crowd with his talent, and June 9 was no exception. We also saw artists we have collaborated with many times at PXP, like Kodes and Rapi Sati, as well as RK and Fresh, who traveled from Belgium. We also had two real phenomena from the new generation, Kerchak and Favé, completing the rapper team.|NEXT|The lineup was not limited to rappers; influencers also showed up massively for the event, again with big names and people present at previous editions. Boucif and Fares brought good vibes all afternoon, much to the delight of the young attendees. Paul Kabesa, KMS, Attaching Boys, and others were also there. We must mention France’s number one rap influencer, Monsieur Fred Musa, who hosted this Match Planète Rap as in past years. The event was broadcast live on KmSenKangoo’s Twitch channel, which we thank, with the possibility to donate to the Fondation Abbé Pierre.|NEXT|For the third consecutive year, PXP was a partner of the Match Planète Rap and the Fondation Abbé Pierre for the event. We are thrilled to associate with such an initiative that mixes solidarity, sport, urban cultures, and good vibes, perfectly representing our brand and the values we want to convey. As since the event’s creation, Project X Paris was present at the Auguste Delaune stadium in Bobigny, even having our logo as the main sponsor on all jerseys worn by both teams during the match. We also dressed the artists performing at halftime to keep the moment stylish and enjoyable. PXP-branded goodie bags were also spotted in the stands! It was a privilege to contribute to this great celebration, a success once again this year.|NEXT|We barely talked about football at an event called "Match Planète Rap". True, but the score was clearly not the most important thing. We won’t give it to you, but know that the rappers’ team ended up winning the match. As for the supporters’ hearts, they had already been won long ago. Thanks to this event, which shines a spotlight, the Fondation Abbé Pierre is the big winner of this third edition. With ticket sales priced at 5 euros and donations on Twitch, the association gathered a nice sum to help the less fortunate, we hope. In these times, solidarity is clearly one of the most important values to keep in mind!
