Saturday night, La Villette, the cage set up beneath the roof of the Zénith. A kid from Rueil-Malmaison steps into it with four pro fights and four wins before the final bell. This time, the last step comes with a belt. Hexagone MMA 48, October 24: Samba Sima, member of Le cercle PXP, is taking on the top of the -57 kg division.
Samba Sima: four fights, four finishes. Saturday, the final step.

Samba Sima: four fights, four finishes before the bell
He is 23 years old, with a pro record that fits on four lines. Four lines, four wins, and none went to the judges. Samba Sima doesn’t climb the steps: he swallows them whole.
The first step comes in April 2025, at Hexagone MMA 27. A jumping head kick, twelve seconds into the second round. Then came Zelimkhan Umarov in August 2025, Nikolai Makarenko in January 2026, and Leonardo de Oliveira Barbosa in June: three more TKOs.
The rise began well before the pro cage. On the amateur circuit, Sima has 18 wins. At the 2024 IMMAF World Championships, he scored three wins before the final bell, including a first-round TKO against Irishman Flobater Fares, European champion. The Fighting Beat fighter has always risen fast.
Did you know?
In four professional fights, Samba Sima has never seen the third round. On Saturday, the title is contested over five. No one knows yet how he’ll breathe at that altitude.
Vibe check: Samba Sima, the -57 kg division’s dynamite under the Hexagone MMA banner.
Can Léopold Goi cut the rope?
He’s no walk-on opponent. Léopold Goi, nicknamed Leonidas, has a record of 8 wins and 3 losses and knows the organization’s big nights. At 29, the Mantes-la-Ville fighter has experience Sima doesn’t yet have.
He also carries a scar. In February 2026, in Aix-en-Provence, he already went after this -57 kg title. Brazilian Romero Dos Reis sent him back to the foot of the mountain in 7 seconds.
Leonidas is attempting a second climb, this time against a finisher. His plan is set: last, wear him down, take the prodigy into rounds he has never known. See the trap? Over five rounds, experience becomes a weapon.
From Le cercle PXP to the top of the -57 kg division
At Project X Paris, this fight has a special meaning. Samba Sima is part of Le cercle PXP. He trains in PXP, he announced this fight in PXP: the same mindset, the same hunger to climb.
No showcase partnership here. A 23-year-old athlete from the Paris region, from Rueil-Malmaison, bringing that energy all the way to the Zénith cage. A rise we’re following one step at a time.
The setting lives up to the moment. Hexagone MMA 48 serves up a stacked card: Paul Dena returns against Bilal Labid after his KO in Lyon, while Turpal Younousov makes his organizational debut against Mikail Bayram. But all eyes are on the main event.
Our prediction: Sima plants the flag at the summit
Goi has the experience, Sima has the dynamite. The younger fighter has never had to manage a long fight: it’s the only question mark, and it’s a real one. But the matchup tilts one way.
Against a finisher who has stopped all four of his pro opponents, a fighter who was knocked out in seven seconds in his last outing can’t afford a mistake. One opening will be enough for Sima.
Our verdict: Sima by TKO before the fourth round, and the -57 kg title for Le cercle PXP. First fights at 7 p.m. on RMC Sport, main event later in the evening: don’t miss the final step.
Sima, bound for the summit
Four fights, four steps swallowed up before the final bell. On Saturday at the Zénith, Samba Sima takes on the final step with a belt at the top: the next chapter of the climb will be written in La Villette.
