Lujipeka at Bercy: the Rennes native’s wild gamble who wanted to quit

Saturday night, boulevard de Bercy, a match awaits its moment. Thirteen tracks to burn it all down, four years without an album before lighting the fuse again, a tour that set all of France ablaze. On November 7, 2026, Lujipeka finally brings the fire of Brûler Paris to the Accor Arena.

Bercy, first time: the match faces 20,300 seats

The Rennes native had never performed there. On Saturday, November 7, 2026, Lujipeka will set up at the Accor Arena for the first time. Show at 8 p.m., tickets from €39.

It’s a big leap. In 2022, Luji took to the stage at the Olympia. On March 31, 2023, he played the Zénith de Paris. This time, Bercy’s concert capacity climbs to 20,300 seats.

Not just another date: a whole new scale. The Brûler Paris tour has already set France and Belgium ablaze, from Nîmes to Saint-Malo via Rouen. Paris was always destined to become the epicenter.

From the Rennes crew to a solo blaze

Before Luji, there was Lucas Taupin, born in Rennes on September 9, 1995. In the mid-2010s, he launched Columbine with Foda C and his crew. In 2017, Enfants terribles debuted straight at No. 8 on France’s album sales chart.

In 2019, the collective came to an end. Luj reignited the flame on his own, first with the EP L.U.J.I. in 2020. On November 5, 2021, Montagnes russes was released. Driven by Poupée russe, a platinum-certified single, the album itself went platinum in November 2024.

The awards followed the trajectory. NRJ Music Award for Francophone Breakthrough Artist in November 2022, followed by a nomination at the 2023 Victoires de la musique in the Male Breakthrough Artist category.

Then the flame flickered. According to Le Monde, as cited by L'Éclaireur Fnac, the artist was ready to quit everything in 2023. A trip to Mexico, South Korea, and Japan reignited his desire, he told Objectif Sud.

On October 3, 2025, Brûler Paris dropped: 13 tracks, anger, doubts, disillusionment. Les Inrockuptibles called it Lujipeka’s best work yet. Burning to be reborn: the title sounds like a mission statement.

Did you know?

Luji already knows his way around fire. In 2024, he carried the Olympic flame through his hometown of Rennes, before giving a free concert there. Two years later, he’s the one coming to set Paris alight.

Visual preview: Puzzle, one of the singles that lit the fuse for Brûler Paris.

What will he throw into Bercy’s blaze?

The tour has revealed the recipe. According to Objectif Sud, the set blends Columbine, Montagnes russes, and the new album, with a clear focus on Brûler Paris. No rapper alone behind a mic: Djoo on guitar and keys, Mus on drums, KCIV on the decks.

The standout moment has a name: Saut périlleux. Luji describes it himself as a breakup song that stirs up plenty of emotion in the venue. And when tracks from the Columbine days return, the crowd shifts into nostalgia mode.

"I’m the only one who’s still carrying it on and keeping it alive on stage."
