One Life Camp: the dance floor where the spotlight is earned
In Montpellier, One Life Camp is no ordinary workshop. Dancers come here to learn choreography from renowned teachers, from hip-hop to dancehall. Behind the event is a local association founded in 2020, with passing on knowledge as its driving force.
The highlight is the camp show. Hours of classes come together in one moment in front of an audience of dancers who miss nothing. For this event, Project X Paris was on the dance floor with them.
Why did this dancehall crew capture all the spotlight?
At the helm, GBB, a leading figure on the French dancehall scene. For the show, he brought together a crew of nine dancers. At Project X Paris, we dressed them because outfitting the people who move culture is our thing.
Vibe check: the dancehall crew in Project X Paris on the One Life Camp stage.
Dancehall is all about the details: shoulders, footwork, attitude. Clothes have to move with every isolation without ever holding it back. The result: style, energy, and our pieces in the spotlight.
