The NBA calendar: key dates to remember

Regular season (late October > mid-April)

Play-in Tournament (mid-April)

The knockout tournament that decides the last qualifying spots for the Playoffs. High-intensity games where every possession counts.

NBA Playoffs (mid-April > early June)

This is where it all happens. The top 16 teams face off in best-of-seven series.
In France, the 2026 Playoffs will be broadcast on Prime Video, with an exclusive conference final and full NBA Finals on the platform.

NBA Finals (June)
