Official: TAR1Q, rising star of the Nigerian scene, joins the PXP Circle

An artist with a unique journey

Originally from Benin City, Nigeria, TAR1Q grew up between Lagos and Delta State, in an environment where music is part of everyday life.
From these back-and-forths emerged a unique style, a fusion of afrobeats, pop, hip-hop, and R&B, which he calls his “natural hybrid.”

Discovered by Chocolate City Music in 2021 — one of Africa’s most influential labels — he quickly learned the industry codes while keeping his raw identity.
In 2022, he released Son of the Moon, a first introspective and melodic EP.
In 2023, All I Felt confirmed his ability to express emotions with rare sincerity.
Then, in 2024, he released Okada Airlines, a project paying tribute to his family roots and his country’s history.

And in 2025, TAR1Q keeps evolving: after his track “Must Have Been,” he returns with a strong new project, the “Jigga Remix Pack”, a series of reworked tracks where he explores bolder sounds and an even more assertive aesthetic.

A natural connection between music and streetwear

At Project X Paris, we have always believed in the meeting of worlds.
Music and fashion share a common language: that of rhythm, freedom, and charisma.
TAR1Q, through his journey and style, perfectly embodies this vision.

His attitude, his way of presenting himself, his ease with experimentation — everything about him evokes the desire to shake up the codes, just as we do in streetwear.
It is therefore only natural that he joins the PXP Circle, our collective dedicated to urban talents who inspire through their art and authenticity.

From “Son of the Moon” to “Jigga Remix Pack”: the evolution of a creator

Each release by TAR1Q tells a new chapter of his artistic quest.
From the soaring melodies of Son of the Moon to the intimate rhythms of All I Felt, then to the narrative depth of Okada Airlines, his universe expands as his voice grows stronger.

With “Jigga Remix Pack”, he proves he is more than a singer: he is a complete creator, both performer, composer, and artistic director of his own image.
He doesn’t follow trends, he creates them.

It is this creative ambition that attracted Project X Paris.
Because through his music, TAR1Q embodies the same message as our collections: dare to reinvent yourself while staying true to who you are.

TAR1Q x PXP: a bridge between Lagos and Paris

To celebrate this meeting of two worlds, we imagined a hybrid photoshoot between Paris and Nigeria.
Two scenes, two atmospheres, one energy.

TAR1Q wears our iconic pieces there: the white Essentials, the Kalash × PXP capsules with bandana and floral patterns, as well as the checkerboard denim, a symbol of uniqueness.

This is not just a collaboration: it’s a conversation between cultures.
A bridge between the streets of Lagos and those of Paris, between the rising afro scene and global urban fashion.

The PXP Circle: more than a collective, a symbol

The PXP Circle is a family.
Artists, athletes, and creators united by the same vision: to push boundaries, inspire, and leave a mark.

With TAR1Q, the Circle opens to a new dimension — international, musical, alive.
Because urban culture knows no borders.
