La Mano 1.9 BLESSED: release date, pre-order, formats...

September settles on CrimĂ©e, and the 19th holds its breath. For forty-eight hours, only one piece of news has been circulating in the trenches: a name that sounds like a prayer. Not a slogan, not a flex — a claimed blessing. On October 2, 2026, La Mano 1.9 releases BLESSED, his new mixtape.

La Mano 1.9 is preparing BLESSED, his first project since the album R.A.T.

BLESSED: the word that closes the R.A.T loop

Three years with the same gimmick running. R.A.T, meaning “nothing to scratch”: the name of his first freestyle in 2022, that of his label, then that of his first album. A survival stance, born in the streets and kept like an identity card.

And here comes BLESSED. Blessed. The shift from one word to the other tells the whole story: it’s no longer about having nothing to scratch, it’s about what has been received. The title is no coincidence, it’s a statement.

Setting the scene: R.A.T was released on June 27, 2025, ranking between #5 in sales in France and ended up certified platinum. A first album that was no trial balloon. The next one comes with a much heavier symbolic charge.

Did you know?

“R.A.T” is not an image of a street animal. It’s the abbreviation of “Rien À Tter-gra” — “nothing to scratch” in verlan. The gimmick became a freestyle, then a label, then an album. Three uses for one phrase.

From the visiting room to the Spotify podium

The turning point doesn’t happen in the studio. It happens in detention. First incarceration in 2019, just days before his 19th birthday. He was already writing, but he wasn’t yet La Mano.

Second stint in 2021, just after his first solo clips — Versace, R.A.T #1, One Nine. Everything around him empties: his manager insults him, his producer slams the door. It’s there, between four walls, that the spark falls.

"I see on TikTok that the 19th is rising and I seriously question myself: ‘It’s either I get out of prison and kill it, or I’ll end my life in prison.’"

— La Mano 1.9, to Konbini

He gets out. He kills it. TikTok becomes his launchpad — no video, the dance and the backpack do the rest. In 2024, he stacks the important features: G.A.N.G with Tiakola and Niska, Canon with Niska, POP with Gazo.

Then the acceleration becomes brutal. Male revelation flame in May 2025, platinum album in June, and Parisienne with Gims that stays four weeks at #1 before the diamond record. End of 2025, he becomes the 3rd most listened French rapper on Spotify. Two years of career. A blessing that starts to look like an obvious fact.

Vibe check: Zone 19, one of the last clips before the announcement of BLESSED.

What do we really know about the project?

Few things, and that’s intentional. The date is locked: October 2, 2026, streaming and physical. Pre-order opens tomorrow at 12pm on the rapper’s official store. Note the time, the limited editions of R.A.T didn’t linger.

Regarding formats, the offer is already wide: CD at €13.99, vinyl at €21.99, then packs climbing up to €67.99 with Adidas bag, t-shirts and USB figurine key. This key carries the smartest argument of the rollout: the single “Comme d'habitude”, available nowhere else.

The rest? Total silence. No tracklist, no announced features, no revealed production. Spotify already shows its countdown, physical references circulate among distributors, but the content remains sealed. A mystery kept three weeks before release is no improvisation.

October 2: what BLESSED must prove

A mixtape doesn’t have the obligations of an album. Less calibration, more freedom, and the right to try. After a platinum and a #1 with Gims, it might be exactly the ground he needs.

There remains an unknown that makes the meeting even tenser: he already explained that he’s not looking to last, but to take what he has to take, for as long as it takes. A sentence that changes the reading of every release. At Project X Paris, we closely follow this kind of trajectory — CrimĂ©e, a backpack, two years, a Spotify podium, it’s the scenario French urban culture was waiting for.

So the real question is not whether BLESSED will succeed. It’s whether the blessing turns into a coronation.

Signature style: the backpack

With us, you spot an artist by his silhouette before you spot him by his flow. La Mano 1.9 settled the question from his first videos: the backpack never leaves his back, in clips, showcases, freestyles. Not a stylist’s accessory — a neighborhood reflex turned visual signature, as identifiable as his dance moves. The strongest streetwear is the one you don’t take off.

BLESSED, NOT FINISHED

From “nothing to scratch” to “blessed”, he hasn’t changed neighborhood, just altitude. October 2 will say if the blessing turns into a coronation — and the countdown is already on.
