Kodes in Project X Paris: the shoot aiming for the cover

A studio, spotlights, the smell of ink coming through. In this all-screen era, some images still deserve to be printed on paper. Kodes has just posed in Project X Paris for GRINDSEASON, a Belgian fashion and culture magazine.

Visual preview: Kodes in Project X Paris, GRINDSEASON shoot.

Kodes in PXP: the goal, the cover

The plan is clear. Project X Paris has just done a shoot with Kodes for GRINDSEASON, with one clear goal: to see him on the magazine cover, dressed in PXP.

The rapper from Évry is no stranger to us. The founder of Seven Binks, who made his name with his Méchant freestyle series, had already posed for a Kodes × PXP collab. This new shoot brings him into a different editorial world: that of print fashion.

Why does print hit harder?

GRINDSEASON is a real print magazine. A format that has become rare—and that’s precisely what makes it valuable. A printed image doesn’t disappear into a news feed: you keep it, flip through it, collect it.

The issue will be available throughout Belgium from this week. A chance to bring together fashion, music and urban culture, and showcase PXP style in black and white across the border.

Passing through Brussels, Liège or Antwerp? Keep an eye out at newsstands—the issue won’t stay on the shelves for long.

Kodes, in black and white

Stories disappear in 24 hours. Ink, on the other hand, stays. Kodes and Project X Paris have just printed their page in Belgium, and the next one is already in press.
