The detail that makes this victory insane is summed up in one line: the Marseille native had barely one year of practice before entering the show. No stacked mixtapes, no ten years of studio time. A voice, an accent, and an energy that the stage captured from the first bars.

His EP T.Y, released in July 2026, had already set the tone: tracks like Les Garçons Bruns or P'tit Kawa, references to Beausoleil and Malpassé, a melancholy that never weighs down the track. On the show, Samedi soir and Faire + que les autres sealed the deal. He was compared to SCH for the accent and vibe. The comparison is flattering, but it misses the point: Typhee doesn’t play coldness, he plays light.

From Base to ANS: the releases that shook the season

A season is not only judged by its winner. It is also judged by those it extinguishes. And the fifth edition knocked down several favorites with rare brutality.

Base remains the heaviest case. Considered a winner by part of the public from the first episodes, he lost in battle due to a forgotten lyric. Social networks exploded afterward, between incomprehension and anger. Many see it as the most unfair elimination of the season.

Another exit that marked the season: ANS, eliminated during the feats, at the gates of the final, judged too reserved. Nono La Grinta had coached him until the end, he who arrived on the set with a nonchalance that became a running gag of the season.

Yes, and deeply. SCH leaves the show after four seasons, having been there since the launch. In his place, two arrivals: Théodora, who already appeared as a guest last season, and Oli, for the first time without his brother. SDM is the only survivor on the stage, for his third consecutive season.

The format has also changed. No more street scouting: the 21 candidates arrive already selected and are ranked from day one into three tables, from favorites to profiles to confirm. Mischa and Nayte: the two other suns of this final

Nayte, meanwhile, comes from Liège with an atypical path: having passed through The Voice Kids under the name Etyan, he built his rap legitimacy away from the spotlight before coming back to seek it. Two Belgians in the cast this year, and one finalist in the end.
