Summer 2026 sneaker drops: the June-August release calendar

The Parisian asphalt is heating up, and it’s not just a matter of weather. From June to August, release calendars raise the mercury week after week. Jordan Brand, Nike, adidas, and New Balance stack three months of heavy drops. Here is the complete guide to the summer 2026 sneaker drops — and the dates to circle.

June 2026: a calendar heating up

First heatwave from June 1st. The Air Max 95 “Fresh Mint” returns in Big Bubble version, this oversized Air unit reminiscent of the model’s very first productions. An iced mint colorway released in 2009, back at €190 to refresh a summer start that promises to be stifling. The same day, adidas launches its Hyperboost Edge in several colors.

On June 6th, Jordan Brand follows with the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Phantom/Pine Green” (€145). White leather, textured black overlays, pine green touches: the kind of pair you wear all summer without thinking.

Then the thermometer spikes. On June 13th, the Air Jordan 3 “BIN 23” arrives at €355 — Team Red suede, elephant print, gold eyelets. 2,300 pairs worldwide, no more.

Did you know?

The 2,300 pairs of the “BIN 23” are a direct nod to Michael Jordan’s number 23. Each pair bears a wax seal-style stamp on the tongue. More than a release, a lottery.

On June 20th, the Air Jordan 5 “Black/University Blue” (€220) celebrates its 20th anniversary: the original dates back to 2006. Late June, the Kobe 9 Low EM Protro “Hornets” extends the strong comeback of the Kobe line. With the New Balance 550 and 9060 filling in, June is already full.

July-August: the peak of the sneaker heatwave

July opens with the Air Jordan 5 “Sunset”, returning on July 1st for the first time since 2006, in women’s sizes. On July 10th, the Air Jordan 4 “Birds of Paradise” follows the same line: a 100% female drop, coconut and mango tones, made for the season.

The basketball range is not left behind. Nike announces the Kobe 3 Protro “Atomic Pink” and the KD 19 “Bubble Gum Bounce”, while New Balance extends its Grey Days with collaborations.

August is the peak. On August 1st, double blast: the Air Jordan 13 “Flint” — the fifth reissue of a cult 1998 colorway — and the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Love The Game”, delivered with its leather hangtag stamped “Much Love and Respect.”

One week later, on August 8th, the Kobe 8 Protro “Mambacurial” closes the loop: a tribute to Mercurial cleats, pink-purple gradient and volt Swoosh. The Air Jordan 4 “Tour Yellow” is expected between late August and early September.

Which trends will dominate summer 2026?

A look at the calendar is enough: fresh colorways crush everything. Mint, pastel pink, University Blue — brands respond to the heatwave with icy palettes. The hotter the asphalt, the cooler the pairs.

Second wave: retro reigns. Jordan 1, 3, 4, 5 and 13, Kobe Protro, Air Max 95 — summer 2026 draws heavily from 1998-2009. Travis Scott collaboration rumors are already circulating on social media.

From SNKRS to raffles, the battle plan

You know what separates a grabbed pair from a missed opportunity? Preparation. Most big drops this summer will go through raffles — SNKRS at Nike, Confirmed at adidas.

Install both apps, check your payment methods, and enter every raffle as soon as it opens. For classic releases, Foot Locker, JD Sports, Size? and Sneakersnstuff remain safe bets in France.

A SUMMER UNDER HEATWAVE

Three months of mercury stuck in the red zone, icy colorways as the only air conditioning. First alert on June 1st — the countdown begins.
