Project X Paris supports Wejdene on her tour

She went from unknown to one of the favorite stars of the new generation in just a few months, and at only 16 years old. Wejdene’s success story looks like a Hollywood script so far, and now she has to establish herself by moving from revelation to confirmed and established artist. And the singer has all the weapons to do so!

Wejdene, the phenomenon of the moment The music industry has been hijacked by the Internet, and now the days when record labels and media made and unmade stars are over. The judges are now Streaming Platforms and Social Networks. And in this game, Wejdene is one of the strongest. Behind Aya Nakamura, she is one of the French artists who has broken records the most, notably with hits like “Anissa” or “Coco.” She owes this success to her talent, her serious team (including the famous Feuneu), but also a strong presence on social media. She killed it on TikTok with “Anissa,” is followed by over 2 million people on Instagram, and has also become very close to YouTubers of her generation like Michou, Inoxtag, or Just Riadh, some even appear in her clips! A proudly girly side, a bit of character, talent, and good communication: the winning formula for the singer.

A mix with a strong taste of the suburbs and urban cultures, and it’s no coincidence. Born in Saint-Denis, Wejdene grew up a bit in La Courneuve before moving to the 91. She is also the daughter of Tunisian musician Badra Zarzis, so we better understand all the influences in her music: rap (especially in the way she chooses her words), more afro-trap rhythms, RnB, and overall her mastery of melody. But while the young girl had her influences, she built her own universe, more tangy, more girly, with songs about the daily life of a city girl, with a penchant for songs about disappointed loves, guys who behave badly, but also a good dose of mischief, resourcefulness, and pride. A personality that resonated with thousands of young people in France who identify with Wejdene, in her kindness but also in her ambition. Because the young singer is far from the somewhat naive image some media tried to stick on her.

She knew how to capitalize on this likability to keep growing her brand, her image, even joining season 11 of “Danse Avec Les Stars.” A winning bet that wasn’t really a bet for the show’s production and TF1, which recorded on average 600,000 more viewers than the previous season. Because with Wejdene, Michou, Bilal Hassani, or Tayc, the production wanted to bring young people back to the small screen, a really good idea. Between that and the success of her first album “16,” certified platinum, we can say the singer has already made a huge rise. She has almost finished a big tour across France, which went wonderfully. At only 18, she has already started dropping hints about a second album by releasing new tracks, so it’s just the beginning of her story, and she’s now invited by very diverse artists like Jul or Kalash, proof she’s increasingly settling in the game.

Wejdene fully committed with Project X Paris Establishing herself means mastering her image, and Wejdene has understood that well. It’s also one of the reasons we wanted to work with her at PXP. Very present on social media (especially Instagram and Snapchat), we were especially convinced by her styles in her various clips. Whether in “Coco,” or “Anissa,” or “16,” each time we get a new quality outfit, with real successful stylistic attempts, and we strongly approve. The singer is a true fashion and streetwear connoisseur, which makes sense, she’s completely from this culture. All this without forgetting to assert her feminine and girly identity. So we had the chance to collaborate with the artist through a partnership that meets all our expectations. We notably had a very successful shoot, with the main theme being the University capsule, the quintessential American garment worn by many students in the States. With, as the centerpiece, the women’s bomber jacket (which also exists for men), the iconic jacket of US college sports, whether basketball or American football. A piece a bit in an old-school style, but as we said, Wejdene knows her classics and paired with a white top, slightly loose jeans, and a pair of Jordans, it hits the mark. On stage, she sent us maximum energy since almost her entire team appeared in women’s jogging sets Project X Paris.

As for Wejdene, she chose a rather simple outfit to be comfortable during the performance, with jogging pants, a little white top, and a pair of Jordans. The singer also knows when to keep it simple and efficient and doesn’t refuse more “laid-back,” more natural looks when the mood fits.

Like when she switches to cocooning mode in the tour bus, with looser clothes, like a hoodie for example. But cocooning or not, it’s important to stay stylish, and Wejdene managed to combine comfort and charm, with a large two-tone and two-material white and blue hoodie (with a color and look reminiscent of denim), matching her Tour Bus!

The hoodie is worn with jogging pants that are also two-tone and two-material, white and blue, giving a very successful “women’s jogging set” effect, quite loose, very comfortable, and rather soft. Always worn with a pair of light sneakers that also make a nice impression. We find that Wejdene fits perfectly with the image we want to convey of Project X Paris, and we are obviously thrilled to count her among our muses. We wish her all the best for her tour, which is already well underway and going wonderfully so far, as well as for her upcoming album. It should allow her to reach an even wider audience and assert herself even more, it’s the logical next step in her incredible journey!
