Nouvelle École season 4: Netflix changes the game and gives power to the audience!

The most anticipated rap competition on Netflix is back stronger than ever with an explosive season 4. SCH and SDM take control, while a major surprise arrives: viewers will have a say in the show! Here’s everything you need to know about this new edition that is likely to shake things up.

The audience becomes a key player in the show

Big new feature this year: fans will be able to vote for their favorite track via Spotify ! Netflix partners with the streaming platform to allow viewers to choose between two anonymous tracks, produced by SCH and SDM. The voting results will be revealed during the season, offering a new interactive dimension to the program.

Until March 19 at 11:59 PM, internet users can influence the competition by selecting their favorite track for the Cyphers challenge. This is a first that could completely change the Nouvelle École experience.

Aya Nakamura absent, a SCH vs SDM duel

After only one season as a judge, Aya Nakamura is not returning. Officially, her busy schedule prevented her from continuing the adventure. But Netflix decided not to replace her! A surprising decision, as this is the first time there will be no female presence on the jury.

Instead, the show adopts a 100% battle format: Team SCH faces Team SDM, in a competition where the two rappers become both judges, coaches, and opponents. A real battle of titans in prospect!

Former contestants make their return!

Another surprise: some familiar faces from the program will appear in a special episode. Among them, Youssef Swatt’s, Leys and WarrenD, who marked previous seasons. A way to connect the old and new generations of French-speaking rap.

Netflix is therefore betting on a super dynamic season, with intense battles, a new, more competitive format, and above all an unprecedented involvement of the audience. Now it remains to be seen whether this more interactive version will attract fans or disrupt the spirit of the program too much.
