Therapy Barbecue September 5: the PXP camo jacket available for purchase on site

Sand, a smoking barbecue, late summer light. Therapy spent two years shaking up Parisian nights. This time, the collective steps into the daylight. On September 5th at La Beach, Therapy unveils its camo jacket with Project X Paris.

La Beach, Bois de Vincennes: the setting of the first Therapy event in broad daylight.

2pm to 8pm at La Beach: Therapy steps out of the night

Therapy is normally past midnight. A club, a pit, rap and afro until dawn. On September 5th, the collective does the exact opposite.

Meet at La Beach Paris, the urban beach set at the edge of Bois de Vincennes, avenue Anna Politkovskaïa. Sand, deckchairs, barbecue. From 2pm to 8pm, under the September sun. The setting has nothing to do with a dancefloor.

This move is not a logistical detail. An evening protects: the night, low light, volume that spares talking. Here, everything happens in the open. Therapy shows itself in full light, and that’s precisely the idea.

Did you know?

Therapy was founded in 2023 by Matys Guitel and Maïlys Chauveau. Two and a half years later, the collective claims over 30,000 tickets sold and has expanded from Paris to Rennes, Bordeaux, Toulouse, and Lille since September 2024. Source: therapy-paris.com.

No line-up, no DJ set

The event page writes it in capitals: no line-up, no DJ set. For a structure born from music, it’s a deliberate withdrawal.

So what’s left? A barbecue, people standing in the sand, and conversations usually drowned out by sound. Therapy calls its community the therapists. This Saturday, they talk instead of dance. The format is bare, and that’s what makes it interesting.

"An affordable barbecue, music without a DJ, the chance to chat among therapists and discover our new merch collection in collaboration with PxP."

Therapy x PXP camo jacket: the drop only here

This is the real reason to come. The collective and Project X Paris open a sales stand on site to sell the first pieces of their collab: a zip-up hoodie in camouflage print, Therapy and PXP logos small on the chest, large on the back.

Camouflage is normally used to disappear. On this jacket, it does exactly the opposite: the back bears both names in large format, visible from ten meters away. A garment designed to blend in, repurposed to stand out. The whole logic of Saturday lies in this paradox.

The sales rule is brutal and known in advance: first come, first served. No presales announced, no restock promised, no online drop mentioned. Those who leave with the jacket will be those who are there at opening.

How to get in without being turned away?

Two non-negotiable conditions: 18+ and ID required. Ticketing goes through Shotgun, with free spots announced on the collective’s account. Check availability before you go.

For the jacket, the logic is different: arrive at opening. A stand that works on first come empties in a few hours, not six. Block 2pm, not 6pm.

At Project X Paris, we follow these formats closely: they often say more about a brand than its campaigns. A late summer barbecue, a jacket sold by hand, no stage. Little staging for a lot of signal.

Vibe check: Therapy’s night energy, before the daylight turn.

THERAPY STEPS INTO THE DAYLIGHT

Two years shaking up Parisian nights, and one Saturday to show everything in the sun: the barbecue, the camo jacket, the community. The night will reclaim its rights the following week. The daylight, however, is just beginning.
