A historic chapter turns for French football! Alongside the sensational appointment of Zinédine Zidane as the national coach of the Blues, the Fédération Française de Football (FFF) marks the start of this new cycle by unveiling the new graphic identity of the French Teams. New logo, redesigned rooster, and modernized visual charter: a breakdown of an ambitious rebranding that projects us towards the upcoming major events, including the 2027 Women's World Cup.
The new logo of the French Teams: a more conquering Rooster
At the heart of this visual revolution is the inseparable emblem of French sport: the rooster. Gone is the old design, the new FFF logo features a completely redesigned rooster. More assertive, more embodied, it exudes a resolutely conquering attitude.
The inspiration? A magnificent nod to history. The designers delved into the archives of the 1920s to rediscover the essence of the first representations of the rooster, while applying contemporary features. Moreover, the word "FRANCE" is now proudly and visibly integrated into the logo, more directly affirming the team's role of representation on the international stage.
A common identity for all national teams
This renewal does not only concern the men's A team. The FFF's major goal is to create true unity. From now on, a common graphic identity will apply to all teams: Women's French Team, Espoirs, Futsal, and Beach Soccer.
Each team will wear the same emblem, simply accompanied by a specific mention to differentiate it. This principle harmonizes the expression of the teams while maintaining their own readability. One federation, one rooster, one family.
A "Lifestyle" graphic charter adapted to Digital
Beyond the logo, the entire visual charter has been enhanced to meet the demands of modern marketing, social networks, and events. The historic colors (blue, white, red, and gold) are preserved, but are accompanied by new shades of blue and an unprecedented pale yellow.
"This new graphic identity responds to a simple objective: to give the French Teams a more modern, coherent, and impactful expression. [...] The new rooster is designed to strengthen the « lifestyle » and cultural dimension of the brand." — François Vasseur, Marketing and Economic Development Director of the FFF.
Custom-created typography complements this arsenal, offering the "Équipe de France" brand a unique visual expression for its editorial content, marketing campaigns, and future jerseys.
On the way to new heights!
With this new visual identity and Zidane's arrival as coach, the FFF brings a breath of fresh air and ambition. French players are now ready to face upcoming global challenges under a badge that proudly combines historical heritage and modernity.
