After launching Apash and then propelling Lalpha, Validé returns with a third season that breaks the mold: no more solo heroes, this time, the story revolves around a duo. A deliberate way for Franck Gastambide to reinvent the series’ mechanics without replaying the same narrative as the first two seasons. And given the power of the teaser dropped by Canal+, expectations are already sky-high.
Apash Music label still in the game
Known faces like Sabrina Ouazani, Saïd Taghmaoui, Brahim Bouhlel, and Saidou Camara will return, confirming that the Apash Music label is not buried.
Meanwhile, several scenes were shot in prison, according to casting announcements. It’s not yet known which characters will be involved, but this new setting could mark a darker and tenser turn in the plot.
Another strong vibe planned: an award ceremony in the rap world, clearly inspired by Flammes. A nod to real life, in line with previous seasons where Planète Rap and Mouv' Rap Club already served as narrative backdrops.
A constantly evolving narrative universe
Season 3 aims wide. Three storylines emerge:
Give more depth to Mastar, former rival turned ally.
Introduce a new rising talent.
Or even lean on a real rapper and blur the lines between fiction and reality.
The production seems ready to go far, exploring the rap game from all angles, from clashes to careers cut short, to digital success stories of rappers who emerged from YouTube or TikTok.
Validé, always tuned to the rap game frequencies
Where Validé has always been strong is in its sense of timing. Each season captures a snapshot of French rap: social media as a career booster, beefs as promo tools, the rise of female figures, and now… the total diversification of the game.
Season 3 might broaden its scope: going beyond Paris, scouting provincial talents, integrating a fictional talent show like Nouvelle École, and above all, offering a rawer and more political look at what’s been happening in rap over the last three years.
A deserved hype, a controlled wait
Announced for November on Canal+, this new season arrives after a real pause. Franck Gastambide didn’t rush it. He let things settle, observed the scene’s evolution, to better come back with a rethought format.
And with the choice to highlight a duo, the series aligns with current rap dynamics where collaborations explode, collectives reform, and unity often makes strength.
Focus on Bosh, Validé Season 1 revelation
From his first appearance as Karnage, Bosh won everyone over. Raw charisma, gravelly voice, sharp gaze: he marked season 1 like few characters did. And in real life, the artist turned it into success, chaining music projects and stylish collaborations.
At Project X Paris, we had the chance to work with him several times, notably during a memorable photoshoot that remains in our archives. Today, Bosh is part of the Cercle PXP, a crew of artists and talents sharing our vision of street culture, between demand and authenticity.
