Samba Sima Mural: What Lies Behind the Giant Wall in Rueil-Malmaison

A bare wall, somewhere in a residential complex in Rueil-Malmaison. Soon, ten meters of concrete will bear the mark of a kid from Pont de Sèvres who became a KO machine. On Monday, October 26, Project X Paris unveils the Samba Sima mural, painted by Vincent Dacquin.

Visual preview: Samba Sima, soon to be etched into the concrete of Rueil-Malmaison.

  • Location: 37, résidence Les Tarâtres, Rueil-Malmaison

From Pont de Sèvres to the cage: a journey forged in concrete

It all starts at Pont de Sèvres, in Boulogne-Billancourt. This is where Samba Sima grew up, at the foot of the neighborhood’s towers. The mural tells the story of that journey: from growing up in the neighborhood to professional MMA.

His journey first took him through the amateur circuit. There, Samba notably claimed the title of IMMAF world runner-up in 2024. Then he turned pro.

At Hexagone MMA, the numbers keep climbing. Four fights, four wins, all before the final bell: Sandoval, Umarov, Makarenko, then Leonardo de Oliveira in June 2026 in Décines. Every time he steps into the cage, he leaves his mark.

On Saturday, October 24, at the Zénith de Paris, The PXP Fist fought the first title fight of his career, headlining Hexagone MMA 48 against Léopold Goi. [HXMMA 48 RESULT SENTENCE]

Why paint a fighter on concrete?

A championship belt goes in a display case. A mural, on the other hand, commands an entire neighborhood. Vincent Dacquin’s artwork stretches nearly 10 meters wide and 5 meters high: impossible to walk past without looking up.

The project is more than a portrait. It pays tribute to Samba’s story, his roots and his journey. An apartment building wall transformed into an open-air story.

"Much more than just a mural, it is a true symbol of determination, perseverance and pushing beyond your limits."

— Project X Paris, official invitation to the reveal

Our prediction is clear: this wall will become a hotspot. The kind of place where local young people will come to take photos, remembering that a champion’s journey often begins at the foot of an apartment building.

Between the octagon and the mural, the same DNA

At Project X Paris, Samba isn’t just another name on a list. The brand has supported The PXP Fist since the beginning, from the cage to TV studios.

This mural sums up our vision: going beyond sports sponsorship. Supporting inspiring journeys. Building bridges between sport, art, fashion and urban culture, and leaving a mark that lasts longer than a gala night.

Monday, October 26: the day the wall comes to life

The reveal takes place on Monday, October 26, 2026, at 37, résidence Les Tarâtres, in Rueil-Malmaison. Guests are welcomed from 2:30 p.m..

At 3:00 p.m., Samba Sima arrives to officially discover the artwork. The moment the fighter comes face to face with his own story, painted large across the concrete.

Journalists, media, friends and family, partners and the PXP team are expected. Want to experience it in person? Arrive early: when the artwork is unveiled, it’s best to be in the front row.

Did you know?

Samba Sima fights at flyweight, the under-57 kg division. All four of his first professional wins at Hexagone MMA ended by KO or TKO, without ever leaving it to the judges.

Etched in concrete

Championship belts are won and defended. A mural, though, is here to stay. In Rueil-Malmaison, Samba Sima’s story has found its wall, and the next chapter is already being written with fists.
