The event brings together the greatest content creators from two different nations to compete in a real football match. No half-improvised exhibition games here: we are talking about real Internet athletes, rigorous physical preparation, an official refereeing team, and a fired-up audience.
The first edition, held on November 19, 2022 at Stade Jean-Bouin, pitted France against Spain. Carried by an incredible twelfth man, the Internet Blues won 2-0. But the real feat was on the screens: the event shattered the historical record at the time on French-speaking Twitch by gathering 1,155,060 simultaneous viewers. An undeniable proof that this format transcends the simple gamer community to become a major cultural event.
Who is AmineMaTue, the mastermind behind the event?
Behind this titanic project is Amine, better known by the pseudonym AmineMaTue. In just a few years, he has become one of the leading figures of Twitch in France, establishing himself as an extraordinary event producer, capable of gathering nearly 18,000 people in a stadium and over a million viewers behind their screens with a single click.
But beyond entertainment and audience records, Amine is also a creator deeply committed to philanthropic works. He is the one who launched the charitable project Stream for Humanity. In January and then November 2025, he mobilized his fellow streamers for two 48-hour streaming marathons, each concluded by a big solidarity football match. Thanks to the generosity of his community, these two waves of solidarity raised 5 million euros for three charitable associations.
The 2026 edition: France vs England
For this second chapter, the bar is set even higher. Forget La Roja, this time, it’s the British armada standing in the way of Amine’s troops. And the opponent is formidable, as the English squad will be led by international superstar KSI and his legendary collective of creators, the Sidemen.
