Kodes never does things by halves. A pillar of the 91, a key figure in the Bat 7 crew, and a creative force in French rap, he has established himself as one of the most active members of the PXP Circle. With his distinctive style, artistic vision, and repeated collaborations with our label PXP Records, the bond is strong and the trust is mutual.

From “Bat 7” to the top of the charts
The story begins in Évry-Courcouronnes, in the heart of Parc aux Lièvres, in Building 7. There, an entire generation decided to make some noise. 7 Binks, Mafia Spartiate, Méchant freestyles... Kodes has been in the kitchen from day one, putting everything into the mix. Early on, he put in the work alongside Koba LaD, Bolémvn, Keusty, and Shotas, but it’s as a solo artist that he finds his full power.
His projects “La B” and “Avoir & Être” marked a turning point: more control, more melodies, but always that sharp, no-filter style. The 91 has never been more visible, and Kodes is one of its most consistent faces.

At PXP, we build on what’s real. And with Kodes, the connection has been natural from the start. From an unforgettable first shoot in 2022 — with a hangar, a Robin DR 400 plane, and a red Ferrari — to today, the growth is clear, and the collaboration has grown stronger.
Last summer, we set up in Los Angeles to shoot Kodes in our Essentials set, perfectly suited to his world and our identity. The artist himself approved the look, posted it on his socials, and wore it in the streets of California: warm light, the skyline in the background, and an attitude as sharp as ever.
He also wore an outfit from our exclusive Kalash x PXP capsule, a limited drop combining Caribbean vibes, premium materials, and a distinct visual identity.
But this is only the beginning: 2026 is going to hit hard, with several looks already in the works for his upcoming visuals: a tracksuit set with patches, directly inspired by US style codes — a nod to varsity jackets and NBA team logos — and a turquoise blue summer outfit from our upcoming Old School capsule, blending retro style, freshness, and attention to detail. Kodes gave them his exclusive approval, and trust us: these looks are going to hit!

Music is our territory, too. PXP Records, our in-house label, produced “Prêt”, a hard-hitting single that confirms Kodes’ solo direction. Precise visuals, a beat that hits hard, surgical flow: the track is a statement. Kodes is “ready”—ready to make his mark for good, ready to break down the barriers between fashion, sound, and visual identity.
The video, carefully conceived and directed, reflects our shared vision perfectly: an urban aesthetic, raw yet refined.
