Who is Kodes?
Originally from Évry, Kodes made a name for himself within the group Mafia Spartiate, before forging his own solo path. Freestyles, bangers, collaborations: the rapper has stamped his mark with sharp flows and unfiltered authenticity.
With his first EP La B and album Avoir & Être, Kodes proved he can turn every track into a demonstration of power. Featured on the Bât 7 project, surrounded by major urban scene artists, he has become an essential figure in contemporary French rap.
After a strategic silence, Kodes returns stronger than ever with “PRÊT” — a track that sets the tone: determination, ambition, and confidence.

This summer, we met Kodes in Los Angeles for the shooting of the PRÊT video.
Between the iconic settings of the Los Angeles River and Californian urban landscapes, the visuals perfectly embody the PXP spirit: a fusion of the street, raw energy, and the American dream.
