Since 2013, La Villette has been the stage for intensity, controlled rage, and pure expression: the International Illest Battle is THE unmissable event of the global Krump scene. This year, Project X Paris took a step further: we merged our streetwear universe with that of Krump, a dance born in the poor neighborhoods of Los Angeles, an outlet turned way of life. A strong, raw, sincere collaboration.

A first step into the fire of Krump
On Saturday, May 31st, for the Illest Battle finale, we took our first steps into this burning universe, dressing iconic figures of the scene:
Tony NoScript, 3-time winner of previous editions, performed in our exclusive outfit, combining technical comfort and street aesthetics.
Grichka Caruge, founder of the Madrootz collective and master of ceremonies, embodied our vision: free, expressive, powerful.
We also gifted winners of the 4 categories (Guyz, Gurlz, Beginnerz, Kidz) with PXP pieces, as a symbol of their inner fire and style.
Through this collaboration, we wanted to celebrate the shared values between streetwear and Krump: authenticity, intensity, self-expression.

Krump: a cry of body and heart
Popularized by David LaChapelle’s documentary Rize and brought back to light by Les Indes Galantes by Clément Cogitore, Krump is much more than a dance: it’s a declaration of identity, an outlet, a raw art. The gestures are coded, violent but controlled, visceral but poetic. It’s street energy transformed into language. And at PXP, we get it. We live it. We support it.
Krump: a cry of body and heart
For Project X Paris, every collection, every piece is designed to be worn, lived, felt. Krump shares this philosophy. Wearing a tracksuit, shorts, or a PXP jacket in the arena means embodying the street with elegance, energy with style, movement with attitude.
With this first collaboration, we open the door to other fusions between our vision of streetwear and artistic disciplines from urban cultures. Because our ambition is to change the game, not only in fashion but in codes, landmarks, and inspiration.

To be continued…
This is just the beginning. We want to keep collaborating with those who make the street vibrate, whether in dance, sports, music, or art. If you share our vision, join the movement.
