Project X Paris present at the Cannes Festival!
A global event of great scale, the Cannes Festival is synonymous with glamour and prestige. While the big names of the 7th art flock there en masse, in recent years the red carpet has also been walked by emerging artists who found success through popularity gained on social networks. Influencers break well-established codes and make their place even on the Croisette!

This year again, influencers and actors mingled on equal footing at the 74th Cannes Festival. And even if this novelty was not necessarily to everyone’s taste, it’s clear that social media stars were in the spotlight and attracted all eyes. With TikTok or Instagram accounts exceeding a million followers, these 2.0 artists created their own rules and redefined the contours of popularity by democratizing it and opening it to parts of society previously excluded. They prove that anything is possible and that not everything is reserved for a certain elite! Major events like the Cannes Festival have understood that they are now an integral part of the landscape and to remain attractive and appealing, they must count on them.
Red carpet and star life Having influencers on the Croisette has become a must that the festival no longer wants to do without. To welcome its new protégés properly, the event went all out: rooftop tours, privatization of luxury villas and yachts, meals at chefs’ tables, and very upscale parties... and, of course, the highly publicized climb of the steps! And as if that wasn’t enough, for the first time this year, a partnership was even made between Instagram and Meta (formerly Facebook) and the Palais Bulle to host nearly 300 handpicked influencers from around the world. A true architectural UFO, this complex designed by Hungarian Anti Lovagg in the 1970s overlooks the bay of Cannes. A highly Instagrammable place, often chosen for fashion shows, where social media stars could pose and thus explode their counters! While Instagram had already been present at the festival in previous years, it had never carried out an operation of such scale.
Fukay poses in PXP at Palais Bulle Among the guests were French influencers like Natoo, former Miss France Iris Mittenaere, as well as Just Riadh and Fatou Guinea Kaba. Also international figures like the huge Khaby Lame known for his short humorous videos delighting his 142 million TikTok followers! The famous YouTuber Fukay was also present! The Belgian social media star and his sidekick Boris Becker, known for their pranks, are pros at hidden camera videos they shoot in the street to prank passersby, notably with the famous character "mamie Fukay." The Belgian is also the originator of the "no yes no with penalty" concept live on the web where he invites known and unknown people. His lives are watched by tens of thousands! A hit for this young man only 24 years old who counts nearly 800,000 Instagram followers and 1.8 million on TikTok! A phenomenon! During his stay in Cannes, he was a guest for a day at Palais Bulle. The young Belgian measured his luck and took the opportunity to pose in Project X Paris. For this extraordinary shoot, in this place with about ten suites, a panoramic lounge, and a large 500-seat amphitheater with sea view, Fukay chose to wear a beige pleated and fluid material outfit to be both chic and relaxed. An outfit that seems to have charmed his community, which massively praised his look! Fukay thus sent Project X Paris directly to the Cannes Festival!
The people of Cannes caught in the trap During their short stay, the two comedians @mr_boris_beker and @fukay1070 took the opportunity to make several humorous videos that garnered tens of thousands of views. Comfortably seated in their car, they are seen pranking passersby! In one video, Fukay wears a PXP blue and pink shirt/short set with palm tree prints. The ideal outfit for nice weather to be comfortable and stylish during the day! Boris Becker is also a fan of our brand and recently proved it during a shoot where he proudly wore Project X Paris colors. On this occasion, the comedian chose very 90’s outfits, like the Capsule University collection and its famous University Bomber jacket. A must-have worn by rappers, athletes, and other stars of the time. The signature sweatshirt, timeless and classic, also caught the eye of the star who started making funny street videos in 2017. Known for his gags where he imitates a fake English accent, the Belgian YouTuber is now a social media staple with 2.3 million Instagram followers and 45 million views on TikTok! Further proof that urban culture is everywhere!
