The deal: the entire Power empire moves under Netflix banner
The news shook the series world. Netflix has just secured the international rights to Power and its three main spin-offs: Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan and Power Book IV: Force. A territory transfer of rare scale.
Specifically, the platform acquires 6 seasons of Power, 4 of Ghost, 5 of Raising Kanan and 3 of Force. The original series even arrives with US domestic rights, having lived on Hulu since 2017. Starz's flagship catalog leaves its stronghold.
Leading the conquest: Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson. The New Yorker built this universe piece by piece, and now sends it to target the world's largest subscriber base. The franchise scales up.
What remains at Starz: the last two spin-offs
The shift is not total. The two new spin-offs, Power: Origins and Power: Legacy, are not part of the deal and remain exclusive to Starz. The channel keeps a foothold, but its historic territory shrinks.
The global rollout begins in November, with one exception: Canada, excluded due to pre-existing regional contracts. For Fifty, it’s a demonstration of strategy as much as a media move. The empire does not fade. It grows.
THE EMPIRE CHANGES SIDES
The Power territory does not close, it expands. In November, the conquest goes global and the countdown is already on.
