The wait is finally over for francophone rap fans. The fiercest competition in the rap game is making its big return! Nouvelle École Season 5 officially starts this Wednesday, August 27th. New challenges, new talents, huge stakes: we tell you everything you need to know about this new edition that already promises to be historic.

 

Where to watch Nouvelle École Season 5?

As with previous seasons, it’s happening on Netflix. Get your popcorn ready and get comfortable: the first episodes will be available starting this Wednesday. The platform with the red N keeps its winning formula with a broadcast split into several parts to build up the pressure until the grand finale.

Who are the guests?

Once again this year, the jury called on the cream of the francophone rap crop to support them during the crucial challenges (cyphers, battles, features...). Among the guests already confirmed for this new season, there are heavyweights to advise (or put in their place) the talents: Bamby, the group L2B, Bigflo, Nono la Grinta, the legendary lyricist Youssoupha, the kick master Mister You, and the king of the banger Oboy.

  • Badara & Rita Clara: The formidable outsiders – Two totally different profiles but explosive energy. Badara impresses with his technique, while Rita Clara brings a visual and musical freshness that could cause major damage in the competition.

We couldn’t talk about Nouvelle École without giving a nod to those who engraved their names in the show. Artists like AMK, Yorssy, or the iconic BB Jacques left a mark with their uniqueness.
