New streetwear store in Marseille!
Marseille holds a special place in streetwear today, as well as in all urban cultures in France. It is notably thanks to them that football club tracksuits have come back into fashion, for aesthetic purposes, not just to show support for a particular club. They also revived the extravagant styles inspired by Miami and Tony Montana. A true taste for underwear, with a penchant for uninhibited and original styles: this perfectly matches the spirit sought by Project X Paris.
Following the affinities and growing demand from our customers in the south of France, Project X Paris quickly moved closer to the Phocaean city by opening three stores in Marseille and its surroundings: one in the Grand Littoral shopping center, another at the Terrasses du Port, and the last one a bit more downtown, on rue Saint-Ferréol, the city's historic shopping street. Today, the bridges between Paname and Marseille are increasingly numerous, especially in urban fashion.
It’s no coincidence that the successes of the major Marseille stars of the moment, like SCH, Soso Maness, Naps, and many others, far exceed their city’s borders. The two cities are now connected, and when you go down south, you are very well welcomed. To celebrate this spirit of connection, Project X Paris decided to release special Paris / Marseille capsules. The products appear on the brand’s official website projectxparis.com under the names "Project X Paris Crew" and "Project X Marseille Crew," and they are also available in our Project X Paris streetwear stores if you want to see them up close or try them before buying.
There’s something for everyone: beautiful hoodies notably, including a sky blue tracksuit set inspired by the colors of Olympique de Marseille, the city’s emblematic club, but also by a whole generation of football fans. Soso Maness tried and adopted the model, as did Naps who preferred another color. On the Paris side, it’s obviously Uzi who presented the very effective red and black model. Beyond the hoodie, we also have the essential jogger bottoms, available in "Marseille Crew" and "Paris Crew" models. Unisex clothing that we are really proud of, and for those who have already switched to summer mode, we also have shorts and short-sleeved t-shirts. Once again, Marseille, Paris, choose your side and your color, or take both!
PXP is truly happy to offer this streetwear collection that rides the trends of France’s two biggest cities, Paris and Marseille, two facets of urban culture and fashion that are quite different but both capitals of French streetwear heritage. It is with this in mind that the brand decided early on to collaborate with the best artists of the moment, both in Paris (Bosh, Koba la D, Ninho) and in Marseille (Soso Maness, Naps, SCH). Also with footballers, who are now key players in fashion, have huge influence on social networks, and are also the first to empower artists or streetwear brands. After Kimpembe, David Luiz, and Neymar Jr, PXP also hopes to win the hearts of Marseille footballers with new unique collections.
