Nasdas & Samos all in with PXP

They put the spotlight on their Saint-Jacques neighborhood in Perpignan, thanks to millions of views collected on Snapchat and TikTok. Nasdas and Samos are now among the biggest influencers in France, and probably the most famous influencers in French street culture. At Project X Paris, we validate this kind of success story and are very happy to work with these two social media phenomena.

From the street to the media tour The duo formed by Nasdas and Samos is now unavoidable if you have even one social media account. They accumulate several hundred million views so far, if you add everything up, numbers that would make even some big American influencers dizzy. But the story of this success starts in the street, in Perpignan. More precisely in the Saint-Jacques neighborhood, where Nasdas had mobilized against bulldozers sent by the city hall to destroy some buildings. That was in 2018 and since then, you can measure the path traveled. The young man formed his team, the Nasdas team, which includes Samos. Together, they filmed their life in the neighborhood, mainly via Snapchat and TikTok, with lots of humor, very trash jokes but never mean, and a real talent for entertainment. The duo is now seasoned, each well in their role but everything remains terribly natural like at the beginning. For almost two years now, the explosion has been considerable.

No surprise they became two media phenomena, making appearances on Konbini, Brut, on Rap Jeu, the famous game of the RedBull channel, or on Skyrock, a consecration for the duo who never stop claiming their belonging to the street and its culture, of which Skyrock is a monument, whether we like it or not. Friendly, always ready to joke, never touchy, and above all with a real desire to help others and do good around by creating social bonds, Nasdas and Samos are the new darlings of the streets all over France. They are especially a real pride for the inhabitants of their neighborhood in Perpignan, where they are very involved and present. Because if Saint-Jacques has the reputation of being one of the poorest neighborhoods in France, the two influencers showed the whole world that it’s not just that, and that in these neighborhoods, there are lots of nice people, you can have fun and even feel at home.

Nasdas and Samos are true kings of buzz and recently took it to another level. Indeed, Nasdas revealed his bank card number in a Snapchat story. 15,000 euros were credited on the card and the most alert fans could use this amount to order stuff online. A real tidal wave was caused by the influencer, to the point that Amazon ended up blocking the many orders placed with the card. We would never have imagined that Snapchatters from Perpignan would have the influence to shake the giant Amazon’s mechanics, but the fervor around Nasdas and Samos is truly huge. A second “credit card operation” is planned, with 50,000 euros and a bailiff this time.

We therefore thank Nasdas and Samos for all the strength they send to PXP. We are delighted to be so appreciated in Perpignan, a city where we already have a store, which works really well and whose opening was a big event. We hope to continue expanding in the South, where the brand is clearly more and more appreciated. As for Samos and Nasdas, we obviously wish them much success in their projects this year, even if honestly we find it hard to see how they could do better than their successes in recent months.
