One Sunday morning in Vincennes, six hundred runners find their stride. At the front, a rapper has been working on his breathing since summer, because his finish line has a legendary name. More than ten years after the first Sheguey freestyles, Gradur takes on the Accor Arena on October 16.

Ten years on the run: the Sheguey reaches the gates of Bercy
It all started with a series of freestyles. On February 12, 2014, Wanani Gradi Mariadi, a kid from Roubaix, launched Sheguey on YouTube. Two months later, number 7 with Ixzo passed 30 million views, according to RTBF.
French trap had just found its frontrunner. L'Homme au bob came out on February 23, 2015, featuring Migos and Chief Keef. Gold-certified by July. Then came Where is l'album de Gradur in 2016 and Zone 59 in 2019.
After that, the pace slowed. The Sheguey became less frequent, mostly appearing as a guest. His mixtape KONGO got him back in the game in 2024, driven by TI TI TI with SDM and Rsko. A career that began with a sprint, followed by a long-distance run: Bercy marks the final stretch.
Where does Sheguey come from?
In Kinshasa, shégués refers to street children. Gradur, who is of Congolese origin, made the word the name of his freestyle series, then his nickname, and eventually the name of his whole community.
From the Bois de Vincennes to the Bercy pit
On July 20, Gradur posted a 5K completed in 23 min 21 sec. Then he asked his followers: which city should we run together in? The Sheguey Running Club was born.
The first outing was in Montpellier on August 9. On September 20, in the Bois de Vincennes, more than 600 people followed his pace over 5K, at an easy pace, according to Generations. No times, no rankings: they run together as a crew.
Behind the image, a real turning point. The man in the bucket hat says he hasn't drunk alcohol for four years and has replaced his addictions with sport. He'll bring the cardio he's built in the woods to the stage. Headlining at Bercy is an endurance test.

What will the Sheguey play for his tenth anniversary?
The night's soundtrack is called Décennie. Announced for March 27, the album finally dropped on April 24, 2026. Gradur had warned fans on Instagram: “you'll understand why I took my time.”
Six years after Zone 59, the lineup is stacked: Ninho, Niska, SDM, La Fouine, Naza, L2B and Timar. Bolide with La Fouine, Pas solo with SDM: tracks made to get the pit moving.
Our prediction: a two-part set. Sheguey classics for the collective warm-up, then Décennie for the final sprint. No guests have been announced so far. But with a lineup like that, you know what could happen in the final mile.

Prices range from €45.50 to €79.60 depending on the category, from standing pit tickets to numbered seats. With three days to go before the show, check availability before getting carried away.

From the freestyles in Roubaix to the trails of Vincennes, the Sheguey ran for an entire decade to reach Bercy. On October 16, he crosses the finish line in front of all of Paris: the next leg of the race is already being written.
