We don’t need to tell you, sneakers are essential for a well-mastered streetwear look. This style, which draws its influence from the street and popular sports in the 1980s, such as skateboarding and basketball, is also strongly associated with the hip-hop world. What guarantees its success for so many years? Comfortable, easily identifiable, and ultra-stylish clothes that have now spread widely to the point of infiltrating the most preppy wardrobes! While at first men’s looks dominated this fashion, the trend has largely balanced out! Women’s lines are booming and unisex collections are even appearing among the most avant-garde brands. Now, everyone wants their hoodie and the time when sneakers were reserved for men is definitely over! No wonder the sneaker market has been a bit crazy lately. More than just shoes, they have become sought-after objects just like some works of art. Highly coveted, some don’t hesitate to devote a true passion to them and collectors of rare or original pieces are growing in number!

A signature and essential model Project X Paris, the number 1 urban fashion brand in France, had to offer you sneakers that could match your sharpest outfits! For this big first, we decided to present two models available in five different colors so they fit perfectly into your wardrobe. First, our signature model takes up the codes of sneakers also called “tennis shoes.” Versatile, casual, stylish, vintage… These sneakers worn by tennis players in the 1980s have made a big comeback. Designed in the mid-1930s thanks to the increasingly widespread use of rubber, these sneakers were among the first to be designed for a specific sport. With a flat and thick sole, like back then, our men’s and women’s sneaker takes the codes of a shoe that was exclusively seen on tennis courts. Revamped, it must be said that this white sneaker goes well with a casual style, sporty or even with a well-tailored dress. On our side, we chose to subtly rework and combine this vintage look with very modern colors for a striking contrast so dear to PXP! Whether black, white, green, orange, or beige, this iconic men’s and women’s sneaker model is a must-have that guarantees a flawless look! For color matching, you can pair this signature model with a hoodie and a cap of the same color to wear with jeans and a bomber jacket for a very clean style or with a cap and a tight dress! Another asset of this model? Being able to wear it all year round!

Basketball as a guiding line Because we like to play with styles while staying true to our DNA, we wanted to offer you several sneaker options. That’s why we worked on a second, more imposing men’s sneaker model inspired by the world of Basketball. This white sneaker for women or men also comes in beige for women and in black, brown, or green for men. Massive and high-top, these sneakers take up the coolest codes of the moment and are largely inspired by the culture of the favorite sports of Michael Jordan and James Lebron. This street sport, very trendy in the most popular US neighborhoods, inspired and was inspired by streetwear fashion. Flashy colors, high socks, and the oversized look drew a lot of inspiration from basketball players! More than any other sport, basketball influenced fashion and many models seen on courts have been diverted for urban use to the point that the athleisure style has completely invaded our wardrobes. How to wear these white men’s sneakers? Pair them with an oversized t-shirt, faded jeans, or slightly worn shorts. For a fully assumed sportswear look, wear your signature jogging suit! For women’s wardrobes, those who want to play contrasts can pair these women’s sneakers with a flowing, light dress and a short denim jacket. For a bolder look, opt for shorts, a crop top, and an oversized jacket. Guaranteed effect!

And because we leave nothing to chance, we wanted to present our new sneakers in packaging that perfectly fits the house style! You can store them in their well-designed box that proudly carries the street universe thanks to graffiti drawn all over.

You got it, whatever pair you choose to show off, one trend is clear: vintage is far from over!
