The international streetball tournament Quai 54 ended on the Suzanne-Lenglen court at Roland-Garros. The men's team La Fusion defeated the Germans from Der Stamm, while the latter won the women's final. An edition marked by the performances of Nadir Hifi, Matthew Strazel, and Sylvain Francisco, energized by shows and strong media presence.

A high-tension men's final
Against Der Stamm, the La Fusion team, supported by three French internationals, had to come back from a 15-point deficit to win. Nadir Hifi, in his third participation, was again named MVP. He combined long shots and decisive drives to turn the match. Strazel delivered the tournament’s most remarkable play with a dribble that left his defender on the floor before scoring near the hoop.
La Fusion thus won its 8th title in Quai 54 history, reinforcing its status in street basketball culture.

Der Stamm, winner of the women's bracket
In the women’s category, the all-German final opposed Der Stamm to Dimez. McKenzie "Smooth" Forbes, an American shooter who played at USC, scored three 4-point baskets in the last minutes, securing the title for her team. The match’s tension, defensive intensity, and late scoring set a high bar for the women’s bracket, praised in the stands by Sandrine Gruda.

A well-represented urban scene
Regarding atmosphere, the stands gathered over 20,000 spectators in two days. Notable sports personalities included Rudy Gobert, Zaccharie Risacher, Jules Koundé, and Bilal Coulibaly. The musical lineup mixed Ivorian rap and local scene with shows by Rick Ross, Youssoupha, Didi B, and Himra, in an atmosphere always true to Quai 54’s DNA.
Quai 54, between court and springboard
The 2025 edition once again confirmed Quai 54’s status as a global showcase for street basketball. The event allowed players to showcase themselves before the EuroBasket, starting July 25 with the French team’s preparation at INSEP. Between high-level sport and urban culture, the balance remains constant.

A tournament that stands the test of time
The format, guests, atmosphere, and individual performances confirmed that Quai 54 continues to weigh heavily in the global streetball landscape. Like Nadir Hifi, who racks up awards and draws more spotlight, the tournament becomes a must for emerging talents and ambitious teams.
