PXP x Ghost Face Killah: a 100% Hip-Hop streetwear collab

At Project X Paris, we constantly push the boundaries of streetwear by blending it with the cultural icons that define our era. In the heart of Paris, we celebrated the legacy of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan, honoring Ghost Face Killah in an evening where fashion, music, and hip-hop culture merged.

Ghost Face Killah and Cappadonna ignite the stage: A Legendary Showcase
During this event hosted by Dirty Swift, the legendary Ghost Face Killah performed a showcase of his classics to an enthusiastic audience. True to his iconic style, he chose to wear our new sleeveless puffer jacket, a key piece from our FW24 collection, embodying the New York urban style he so loves. This puffer jacket caught all eyes, confirming its status as a must-have piece for this winter. Cappadonna, another member of the Wu-Tang Clan, also made sure to share this moment with fans and support his longtime partner.

PXP x Ghost Face Killah: an exclusive collection
During this unique evening, we unveiled exclusive pieces created especially for the event. These creations left a strong impression with their bold design, symbolism, and tribute to the world of Ghost Face Killah:

  • T-shirts and Tote Bags: These pieces featured a logo merging the identity of Project X Paris and Ghost Face Killah. This blend of contemporary iconography and classic hip-hop immediately captivated the guests.

  • American football jerseys: Two distinct designs were unveiled. One paid tribute to Cappadonna, another member of the Wu-Tang Clan, and the other to Ghost Face Killah, reflecting their unique identities through powerful and evocative patterns.

Although these pieces were designed solely for this evening, they gave a taste of what a future PXP x Wu-Tang Clan collection could be, fueling the imagination of enthusiasts and affirming our ability to blend streetwear and hip-hop culture.

Wu-Tang Clan: the rise of a legendary collective
To understand the impact of this evening, we must go back to the origins of the Wu-Tang Clan, born in the early 90s in Staten Island, a borough of New York. Composed of nine main members, including Ghost Face Killah, RZA, Method Man, and Cappadonna, the collective marked hip-hop history with a debut album that became a cult classic: Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).

This album broke the codes with:
Sharp and impactful rhymes, inspired by the street and social realities of New York’s working-class neighborhoods.
Asian influences, notably drawn from 70s kung-fu films, reflected in the song titles, videos, and group imagery.
A unique sound, produced by RZA, mixing minimalist beats, film samples, and raw atmosphere, which remains a reference today.

The Wu-Tang Clan is not just a music group but a cultural movement. Their influence extends far beyond music, touching fashion, cinema, and the philosophy of hip-hop culture. Their ability to combine authenticity and innovation continues to inspire generations.

Nike Dunk x Wu-Tang Clan: A Legendary Comeback
The year 2024 marks the return of one of the most iconic collaborations in streetwear history: the reissue of the Nike Dunk x Wu-Tang Clan. Originally launched in 1999 in ultra-limited quantities, this pair, nicknamed "Goldenrod," quickly became a grail for collectors and hip-hop fans. Featuring the iconic black and yellow colors of the Wu-Tang Clan, this legendary silhouette pays tribute to the cultural heritage of the Staten Island collective. The reissue stays true to the original design while incorporating premium materials and modernized details, such as the embroidered Wu-Tang logo on the heel. This sneaker embodies the perfect fusion of fashion and music, capturing the essence of 90s streetwear while resonating with new generations. Available in a very limited edition, the Nike Dunk x Wu-Tang Clan continues to symbolize the timeless impact of the group on urban culture and sneaker collaboration history.

Ghost Face Killah: a living legend
Among the emblematic figures of the Wu-Tang Clan, Ghost Face Killah stands out for his exceptional storytelling talent and incomparable style. His first solo album, Ironman, is a genre classic, and his collaborations with world-renowned artists have made him a living legend of hip-hop.

Ghost Face Killah is much more than a rapper: he is a voice for the voiceless, an artist capable of transforming pain into poetry and capturing the essence of urban life in his lyrics. His presence at this event was a vibrant tribute to his legacy.

The PXP Experience: 100% streetwear immersion
This evening was not just a musical performance. It represented a true immersion into the world of the Wu-Tang Clan and Ghost Face Killah.
