On May 10th, the industrial walls of the iconic Maassilo venue vibrated to the rhythm of the first edition of the Rotterdam Hip Hop Festival. An unforgettable evening, dedicated to urban culture and street music, which we had the immense privilege to support as an official partner.
A legendary line-up 100% Project X Paris DNA
Since its beginnings, Project X Paris draws its inspiration and roots directly from hip-hop culture. It was therefore only natural for us to cross borders to powerfully represent this heritage on the European stage.
For this first edition, the Dutch festival made a strong impact by bringing together American rap legends as headliners. International heavyweights who perfectly embody the raw and authentic spirit of PXP:
Lloyd Banks (the essential pillar of the G-Unit collective)
M.O.P. (the legendary and underground energy of Brooklyn)
Redman (the absolute icon of East Coast rap)
A full and "sold out" streetwear stand
The excitement among the audience and behind the scenes at Maassilo was simply exceptional. To mark the occasion and connect with the Dutch hip-hop community, we set up a physical Project X Paris stand at the heart of the event.
Festival-goers were able to discover a sharp selection of our key pieces. Between graphic t-shirts, comfortable hoodies, and streetwear sets, the enthusiasm exceeded all our expectations. The result of this first immersion in the Netherlands: a complete sold out in just a few hours!
Fashion and urban art: live clothing customization
Because hip-hop is a global culture that mixes music, style, and visual art, we wanted to offer a memorable immersive experience. Beyond our classic collection, we set up a space dedicated to live customization.
Led by Vincent Dacquin, a talented French painter, this workshop allowed transforming our clothes into true unique works of art before the eyes of the spectators. A strong and creative initiative that perfectly illustrates our brand’s identity: pushing the limits of style and personal expression.
