Nasdas makes his team break through!

You know it, in the street solidarity is a fundamental value, maybe one of the most important. No question of making it alone; the neighborhood guy wants to lift his whole team with him. Influencer Nasdas has always carried these values as a banner and today, at Project X Paris, we are thrilled to be able to help him a bit by providing clothes for the whole team!

From Saint-Jacques to Snapchat trendsetter Who would have thought that a guy from Perpignan, from the Saint-Jacques neighborhood, one of the most disadvantaged in France, could become a major influencer, with view counts that would make some of the biggest global influencers dizzy? By his own admission, Nasdas himself had trouble believing it. Yet his success story, which started during the lockdown, continued to become an exemplary journey that will surely inspire all the young people in his city. He had already made a name for himself in 2018, when bulldozers threatened to destroy several buildings where he and his team grew up. But since the various lockdowns, the phenomenon has taken on a scale that even escapes the main protagonist. Faithfully supported by Samos and all his neighborhood friends, the young influencer, only 25 years old, put his Saint-Jacques neighborhood back on the map, where all communities mix with a true desire to live together. Several faces regularly appearing in his videos now have great visibility, a very local anchoring desired by the influencer.

He declared in an interview: "90% of influencers go to luxury countries to avoid paying taxes. We show our poor friends, and our poor team. All we promise you is 'chienneté'." The tone is set; Nasdas will not compromise on his values and is determined to be one of the spokespersons for his neighborhood, no matter what. It’s no coincidence that he and his team toured the media, appearing on Konbini, Brut, Rap Jeu, and Skyrock. A refreshing arrival in an influencer world where everyone ends up looking alike, going to the same places, talking about the same things, wearing the same clothes. Authentic to the tips of their sneakers, the Nasdas team carries streetwear as a banner through often very humorous videos that are hugely successful throughout France, not just in the neighborhoods.

The one who started his professional life as a salad sorter, then a building caretaker, now stacks millions of views as if it were nothing. A buzz king, with well-mastered communication, even if it remains very spontaneous. Proof: his now famous "credit card operations." Nasdas reveals the codes of a bank card with a hefty sum credited on it and lets his fans use it as they please to treat themselves. The phenomenon grew so much at the first edition that Amazon ended up thinking it was a scam and started blocking the accounts of users ordering with this card. Next time, he promised an even bigger sum (€50,000), with a bailiff present to add some seriousness to it all. An unprecedented initiative that will surely remain unique: it’s hard to imagine Dubai influencers donating €50,000 to their followers.

The Nasdas Team x Perpignan x PXP: the winning trio Because yes, the Nasdas team, well established on Snapchat, is above all about sharing. It’s in this spirit that we wanted to give them a little boost, after already collaborating with Nasdas and Samos earlier this year. The duo was themselves big fans of the brand; we often see them wearing Project X Paris on their shoulders, and obviously, it really makes us happy. So when Nasdas told us he wanted to outfit his whole team in PXP, we of course jumped at the chance. Especially since our brand now has special ties with the city of Perpignan, as we opened an official store there, which is doing extremely well, and we are very proud that a brand with a Parisian identity like ours is so popular in the South of France. This store created a real closeness between PXP and the city of Perpignan, and its inhabitants reward us well; it was only natural to provide everyone with clothes like never before!

Moreover, the Nasdas Team decided to organize somewhat wild photoshoots, sometimes right in the street, and the result is quite incredible with very authentic, very natural photos. Sometimes posing in front of their building walls, with tags and nice murals, or just in the street, with shots that exude authenticity, naturalness, and good humor. In choosing pieces, the team showed great taste, often opting for the most street pieces, like the black t-shirt with a rainbow gradient logo from the Springbreak capsule. The denim jacket, or rather the denim panel jacket from the Patchwork capsule, was also a huge success with the Perpignan team. We also had jogging sets that look extremely good in photos, a bi-material and two-tone hoodie from the Mirror Denim capsule worn with style, and even the color-block shirt, one of the most street pieces in our catalog, referencing the style of some "Chicanos" across the Atlantic. We also had some more classic (white t-shirt, etc.) and more discreet pieces, which are also very effective.

In addition to all this, Nasdas and his team organized a big contest with us throughout early July, with a PS5, clothes, and many other prizes to win. A chance to thank the community of one of the biggest French influencers, a really adorable, dynamic, respectful, responsive, and united community, reflecting the urban youth of France. It’s a real pleasure to collaborate with such cool people; we wish them the best for the future, obviously hoping to have the chance to do this kind of event again soon!
