Masego in Paris: the concert postponed to Salle Pleyel in 2027

On October 10, Porte de la Chapelle fell silent. The Adidas Arena date was cancelled, but the fire didn’t go out: it smoulders beneath the embers, waiting for winter. On February 21, 2027, Masego reignites the flame at Salle Pleyel.

Adidas Arena cancelled: the fire smoulders until February

On Saturday, October 10, 2026, the Adidas Arena was set to host Masego. The concert didn’t take place. Instead, Live Nation France announced a new Paris date at a different venue, four months later.

Paris isn’t an isolated case. The entire European leg of the Fix Your Face Tour is moving to February 2027. Milan, Zurich, Berlin, Cologne, Brussels and Amsterdam are following the same path.

What is the Fix Your Face Tour like once the fuse is lit?

The tour kicks off on August 4, 2026, in Dallas, at South Side Ballroom. It’s his first headlining tour in nearly three years, according to Universal Music. The Dallas Observer hails its dazzling opening night.

On stage, Micah Davis is a one-man band. Saxophone, piano, keytar, guitar, beatboxing: Masego moves from one to the next without breaking the groove. Every night, he builds a beat from scratch, layering loops in front of the audience.

In Indianapolis on September 1, the outlet NUVO describes a concert conceived like a film. Cameras capture the band from every angle and project the footage live in black and white. The singer calls it his 3D movie.

And the audience doesn’t just watch: it takes part. During Heaven, Masego splits the audience into sections—altos, tenors, sopranos. During Mystery Lady, red roses fly into the pit.

"Vulnerability is over. I’m here to party."

— Masego, on stage in Dallas, quoted by the Dallas Observer, August 2026

Must-see: Tadow, the spark that started it all.

More than a postponement, a change of setting

Our prediction: Pleyel will be a better fit for Masego than the Adidas Arena. A venue built for classical music, acoustics made for instruments, an intimate capacity. The sax breathes better in an elegant setting than in an arena.

The US setlist sets the backbone. Wonderwoman, Limerence, Heaven, Someone, Navajo, Dotted Line, Recommend: all highlighted by the Dallas Observer on opening night. And to close, just like in Dallas and Indianapolis, Tadow.

This track is the original ember. Released in 2017 with French producer FKJ, it features on the 2018 debut album Lady Lady and establishes the TrapHouseJazz signature sound. Nearly ten years later, the crowd still roars at the first sax notes.

What does Fix Your Face mean?

When parents say it, the expression tells children to dry their tears and pull themselves together, right away. Masego made it the title of his third album: 16 tracks, nearly three years in the making, over 150 songs written, featuring Buju Banton, Keyshia Cole, Leon Thomas and Musiq Soulchild. Today, he sees it as his way of approaching life, whatever happens.

Vibe check: Fix Your Face, the soundtrack to February 21.

Tickets, getting there, opening act: everything you need to know before Pleyel lights up again

Tickets start at €49, according to Agenda Culturel. Buy only through the official ticketing outlets: Salle Pleyel, Live Nation and Ticketmaster. Outside these channels, there’s no guarantee your ticket will get you in.

As for getting there, the venue is on rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, just steps from Ternes metro station (line 2). On a Sunday night in February, public transport is still your best bet.

As for the opening act, nothing official has been announced. In the US, Lekan opened each night and joined Masego for Gone. No name has been announced for Europe yet. At Project X Paris, we’re keeping the embers warm until February.

Masego reignites Pleyel

Cancelled in October, the Paris date never lost its heat. It’s been smouldering, fuelled by a comeback album and an incandescent US tour. On February 21, the ember becomes a flame again: the countdown begins.
