Cirque d'Hiver: the ring where Paris ignites
There are venues, and then there are homes. Cirque d'Hiver Bouglione belongs to the latter category. Under its 19th-century dome, the round stage places the audience just meters from the dancers. Every move is played openly.
For the community, this place is the home of Fusion Concept. The old architecture, the lights plunging onto the circle, the burning closeness between the stands and the floor: everything focuses the energy on a single point. On the night of the final, the room doesn’t just warm up. It ignites.
You know that rising tension just before a beat breaks the silence? That’s exactly what September 13 promises.
All styles, one stage: the concept that broke all barriers
In 2009, Fusion Concept sparked the first flame. The principle: no rigid categories. Breaking, popping, krump, litefeet, house, locking, afro. On the same stage, in the same battle, dancers mix techniques as they wish.
At the time, no one did that. The festival became the world’s first hip-hop freestyle dance event, and it still holds that benchmark. Total freestyle is its signature: no boxes, no filters, just musicality and instinct.
This approach has fueled entire careers. Each edition, an unknown dancer lights up the stage and leaves with a reputation.
Did you know?
Fusion Concept was founded in 2009 by Kanon Zouzoua, dancer of the Ghetto Style collective. It is the world’s first hip-hop freestyle dance festival, with international qualifications before the Paris final.
Team event, individual event: the double flame 2026
The 2026 edition returns to the original concept. Two fronts, one same evening. Each dancer first defends their team, then must defend their place individually. No place to hide.
This double format creates strong stories. We cheer for a crew, then hold our breath when one of ours is alone in the center. The confrontation takes on another dimension: after a worldwide tour of qualifications, the French face the best from the rest of the world.
Add the DJs and beatmakers, full characters of the night, and you get a lineup where every round can turn the room upside down.

How not to miss the World Final?
Tickets are already available via Shotgun, with Early Bird prices and group offers. For a venue this size, a simple tip: don’t wait. The best seats for a round stage go fast.
For access, aim for Oberkampf or Filles du Calvaire metro stations, just steps from 110 rue Amelot. Around the final, workshops, cyphers and DJ sets extend the party: come early, stay late.
The date is set. On Sunday, September 13, the World Final closes three days of battles. Get ready to see Paris heat up.
PARIS IS GOING TO BURN
The home is ready, the fuse is lit. On September 13, the Cirque d'Hiver reignites the world’s first freestyle battle. The countdown has begun.
