A$AP Rocky at Bercy: Rihanna, Tyler and a helicopter, the wild night

Wednesday night, Bercy looks like an airport runway in the middle of Fashion Week. A surprise fashion show kicks off the evening, then a helicopter suspended above the stage signals takeoff. On September 30, A$AP Rocky transformed the Accor Arena into a long-haul flight lasting more than two hours.

Vibe check: 40 seconds of A$AP Rocky at the Accor Arena, filmed by the venue on September 30, 2026.

The evening at a glance

  • Date: Wednesday, September 30, 2026
  • Venue: Accor Arena, Paris
  • Tour: Don't Be Dumb World Tour, 49 dates
  • Surprise guest: Tyler, The Creator on Who Dat Boy and POTATO SALAD
  • ⏱️ Duration: around 2h15, more than 40 songs, no opening act

Takeoff at 6 p.m.: the AWGE fashion show before the first beat

The evening begins long before the concert. Seated ticket holders received special access, with one simple instruction: arrive at 5 p.m. At 6 p.m., AWGE presents its Spring-Summer 2027 collection.

AWGE is Rocky's creative collective and brand. The acronym stands for Anti War Global Economics, and the collection follows suit: military cuts with a pacifist message, nods to aviation and the navy. A first in his career, as no Rocky concert had ever been preceded by a fashion show.

The partners set the bar. Ray-Ban, for which Rocky is creative director, Louboutin for the women's footwear, and Puma lending its support. In the crowd, Pharrell and Rihanna.

Full flight over Bercy: a show staged like an action movie

No opening act, no DJ. The show kicks off at 9:25 p.m. with a mosh pit and never lets up for 2h15. The full SWAT TEAM music video premieres on the screens before the stage shifts to its signature feature.

His entrance, meanwhile, happens at ground level: Rocky cuts through the crowd to reach the stage, right in the middle of the floor. A takeoff at audience level, before gaining altitude.

The exact moment: A$AP Rocky's entrance into the heart of the Bercy crowd.

A helicopter suspended above the stage serves as a second performance area. From the cabin, Rocky runs through HELICOPTER, STOLE YA FLOW and ORDER OF PROTECTION. It's the hallmark of the Don't Be Dumb tour since its launch in Chicago on May 27.

No official video of the concert has been released yet. To get a sense of the moment's altitude, go back to the source: the HELICOPTER music video, directed by Dan Streit and released in January, showing a city in turmoil from the cockpit.

Vibe check: with no official concert footage available, here's the HELICOPTER music video, the track performed from the helicopter stage at Bercy.

Who was expecting Tyler, The Creator on the Paris runway?

The first thrill comes before he does. Just before RIOT (Rowdy Pipe'n), Rihanna takes the stage to hand their son, Riot, 3, over to his father. Wearing noise-canceling headphones, the little one is passed into Rocky's arms beneath the giant screens.

Then the control tower loses control. Tyler, The Creator appears for Who Dat Boy, their 2017 track, then POTATO SALAD, released in 2018. Two songs, and Bercy takes off for real.

Tyler then takes the mic to pay tribute to their long-standing friendship. In late August, he was the one who brought Rocky out on his own stage in London. The favor is returned at Bercy, in front of a crowd that never saw it coming.

Between family and Mob: the landing after an out-of-the-ordinary night

The rest of the flight feels like an archive retrospective. Praise the Lord, Fashion Killa, Purple Swag, Peso, Goldie, Everyday: the classics roll by like markers on a night runway.

The A$AP Mob, the New York collective that launched Rocky, also gets its moment. A$AP Twelvyy joins him for Yamborghini High and Hella Hoes. In between, a cover of Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit and two Playboi Carti tracks expand the flight plan even further.

Did you know?

Don't Be Dumb, released on January 16, 2026, is Rocky's first album since Testing in 2018. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 123,000 units sold in its first week, a first for him in more than ten years.

Rocky closes the main set with DON'T BE DUMB, then returns for one final encore, FLACKITO JODYE. More than 40 songs in total, without a single lull. The tour has only a handful of stops left before its final landing in Athens on October 11.

BERCY AT ALTITUDE

A fashion show at takeoff, a helicopter in mid-flight, Tyler as co-pilot and a family landing. For one night, A$AP Rocky made the Accor Arena his private runway. We'll keep our heads in the clouds: what's next is already taking shape.
