From November 10th to 13th, in the franchised store of Miramas (Bouches-du-Rhône, France) was a great success with fans of original sapes and streetwear. Here's a look back at this successful Fashion Festival.

The Fashion Festival: a successful bet!

When it comes to streetwear, it doesn't take long to get to grips with all the different brands and what they have to offer in terms of clothing, cuts and materials. It can be hard to stay original. Fortunately, however, designers are constantly coming up with new ideas to breathe new life into your clothes. At Miramas, a franchised Project X Paris store in the south of France, we've opted for the custom/customization side of things, all during a special event with an elaborate decor and story-telling: the "Fashion Festival".

An idea that came spontaneously to the store's staff, and which the brand PXP is obviously very proud. They even came up with a whole concept and atmosphere for the event, which ran from November 10 to 13. The focal point of the Fashion Festival was, of course, the Lab, the customization workshop set up for buyers. You could buy your own t-shirt or your Project X jacket and take it straight to the "Chemist" (who's been a big hit with the public), so he can add personal touches to your sapes.

This "custom" aspect is becoming increasingly important in the streetwear world, and has been popularized by sneaker customization workshops in particular over the last ten years. But it's also possible to adapt it to textile parts, even if this requires a great deal of work and attention to detail (with the rather complicated handling of bleach, for example). These were the qualities demonstrated by Loris, Josué, Gregory and the other members of the Miramas staff over the 4 days of the Festival. In his "Lab", the chemist worked hard to make the Project X Paris sapes even more original, according to customers' wishes. To complete the atmosphere, a DJ was also on hand, playing the best sounds of the moment.

Several dozen pieces were redesigned during the Festival, each time with delighted buyers, who gave the event a great deal of visibility via their social networks. Alongside the customization workshop, the centerpiece of the Lab, there were also a number of events, fashion debates and fashion shows. The result was a true celebration of the streetwear spirit, sometimes a little eccentric, that is the hallmark of the Project X Paris brand.

It's fair to say that the event was an unexpected success, especially judging by the feedback we got from the people who attended, both buyers and staff. This was the first edition of Fashion Festival Project X Paris, and judging by the feedback, there's a good chance we'll be back for more. Because it's through little parties like these that we consolidate our foothold in the world of streetwear, which has always been a world where events, the moments when "you've got to be there" or you'll miss out, are important in the history a brand makes. We'll keep you posted on what's to come!
