February 28 marked the launch of the event eagerly awaited by the fashion world, Paris Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2022-2023. An opportunity for the biggest brands to present their forthcoming collections. What a show! And for the first time, Project X Paris was able to walk the catwalks. A unique opportunity to defend the urban fashion values we've been promoting since the beginning! For this first show, we wanted to hit hard and make our mark: we decided to take the opposite tack by presenting not next season's collection, but the current one. Our aim? We want you to be able to find the products you've fallen in love with right here and now, in our stores and on our website!

What we presented

During this crazy week, hoodies, men's bomber jackets, tracksuit bottoms and even bobs and caps made the TV news frenzy and caused more than one flashbulb to go off! The fashion world was turned upside down by our sharp, precise looks and turned heads! A great source of pride for our brand, which aims to be inclusive and unite people around a culture of strong, committed values.

In the image of what our customers wear, always on the move, the collection offered at Fashion Week was mixed and colorful. It was largely inspired by the trends of the 1970s, a decade of freedom that saw the birth of loose-fitting cuts such as eph' leg pants, tie and dye patterns and pop colors. We saw the return of graffiti motifs, notably on our tracksuits and hoodies from the underground collection, or the "American university" look, celebrated through a men's hoodie and jogging bottoms, but above all the emblematic Varsity Jacket in 6 colors! This season was also marked by the wash and wear trend, which combined pastel and flashy colors, notably with short, sexy dresses for women, or gradient t-shirts to be worn over cargo jeans or short-claquettes as soon as the warm weather arrives!

A taste of summer

Collections that set the tone for the summer to come! With the 1970s as a guiding principle, the Spring-Summer 2022 collection will feature sleeveless shirts like those in the patchwork collection, men's shorts in gradient or bandana prints, and tie-and-dye dresses. We'll also be focusing on the "total look" phenomenon, which is becoming more and more seductive, with flare pants with straps to match bare-back crop tops. A must-have!

Streetwear in the spotlight

To find streetwear brands in a major fashion show, usually reserved for high fashion houses, is a small revolution. Proof that it's possible to shine with an urban look derived from American fashion. If the streetwear trend has conquered the upper echelons of fashion, it's perhaps because it has managed to break free of codes over the years. Born in the United States in the 1980s, this no-holds-barred culture has caught the eye of artists and top sportsmen and women alike. Project X, France's number 1 streetwear brand, has reinforced the phenomenon with feminine pieces, trendy menswear and unisex essentials. A strong identity that attracts many French and foreign artists, including rappers Koba laD, Soso Maness, Orelsan, Naps, Uzi and Aya Nakamura.

What makes us successful

Our inspiration? We draw on the urban culture of the world's greatest metropolises, from Tokyo to Milan to Dubai, all conceived in our Parisian showcase! Our collections draw on these different codes. The world of streetwear is vast, and we want to showcase its different facets, as demonstrated by our collaboration with the famous One Piece manga. Our success also lies in the fact that we appeal to both men and women. We've responded to women's expectations with an urban look that goes beyond the traditional hoodie, and a line that's 100% dedicated to them. Crop-tops, sexy dresses, halter tops, pastel colors, soft fabrics, pants with rhinestones... Our pieces prove that streetwear can be sexy! We offer ultra-feminine garments that can then be paired with more neutral or gender-neutral pieces or accessories, such as sneakers or jogging bottoms.

At the same time, we're putting the emphasis on unisex collections, which are the prerogative of the trendiest women. In this universe, we find tracksuit ensembles with hoodies that are, in some cases, shorter for women... Jogging suits are no longer the shapeless pants we used to put on to be comfortable; they're an essential part of any ultra-look wardrobe!
