Back to school was hot in the south of France! On September 27th, the biggest free invitation concert of the back to school took place in Miramas (Bouches-du-Rhône) and of course Project X Paris was not going to miss an event like this one.
The first edition of the Maritima Music Tour was a hit! On the program of renowned French artists who came ambiancés the Stadium Miramas Métropole for more than 1 hour 30! A pure madness for the 7500 people who made the trip. PXP decided to join the party by sponsoring the event. The staff was equipped with PXP caps and influencers Enzo Compton and lamechepilipili were wearing the brand’s colours for the occasion. As if it was still necessary to demonstrate, Project X Paris has, over the years, established itself as the benchmark of urban fashion. It is for this reason that the brand defends its values by multiplying meaningful collaborations but also by making itself very visible at big events like the Maritima Music Tour !
During this show which started at 8.30pm, the atmosphere was high and the fans sang the choruses of their favorite singers. Among the artists we could take pleasure in seeing performer Amel Bent who presented «Lossa», a title of his latest album «Vivante» certified gold record, Shy'm, Yanns, La Petite Culotte, Mentissa, La Zarra and his tube «Tu t'en iras», Paga&Bengous, Alonzo who set fire to «Traficante» and the highly anticipated Marseille rapper Naps who sang his «Best Life». Naps is one of our favorite artists at Project X Paris. This multi-faceted artist from Marseilles was particularly noticed thanks to his heavy contribution to the 100% Phocaean «13'Organisé» project but also with the release of his latest solo album «Les Mains Faites pour l'or». This protean rapper has a total of 6 solo albums all quite different from each other as well as some platinum records. Much appreciated and recognized by his peers, many artists, who weigh heavily in the middle, agreed to take the microphone at his side. They include Jul, Zaho, SCH, Manny, Le Rat Luciano and Soolking. What good !
Naps and PXP : the collab
If the rapper from Marseille stands out by the big sound, he is also noticed for his assertive style. So it seemed obvious for Project X Paris to get closer to this raw talent who willingly accepted the collab! Among the outfits we had fun putting on the blue and green tie and dye sets but also the whole wearing the PXP brush logos! This set quite marked, is as much appreciated by men as women who especially like to play with the matchy-matchy look! Very comfortable with his image the rapper assumes all styles and likes to dare to surprise but, as in the music, the returns are always winners! It is this very offbeat side that seduced us!
If its universe, coming from the urban culture, is very close to ours, we also have a common taste for very colorful outfits like short sleeved shirts in Miami Vice style or two-tone shorts in pastel tones! Naps is an assertive personality who is not afraid to wear rather extravagant clothes.
However, not always in excess the rapper from Marseilles also appreciates the more posed clothes like sweatpants without frills associated with simple hoodies with sober colors with the signature logo, emblem of our brand.
Marseille capital of urban culture
Naps is not the only one to dare, in recent years, Marseille rappers like Jul and Soso Maness have contributed to make the streetwear lines move to the point of becoming true influencers. Their very flashy and colorful style is recognizable between 1000! For a few years now, Marseille has been at the centre of many influences that perfectly fit the urban culture of the moment or even the front to become a real reference on which everyone likes to look. It was therefore unthinkable not to set up shop in the south to show our collections. Although Marseille has a few shops in the heart of the city as well as in the very commercial street «Saint-Fé», PXP is also present in the surrounding cities and especially at the McArthurGlen shopping center in Miramas Provence in Miramas. This open-air shopping center, located at the crossroads of the main motorways of the Bouches-du-Rhône, is ultra frequented by customers from all over the region in search of ultra stylish clothes at reduced prices. Indeed, the Miramas shop (located 1 hour from Marseille) is an OUTLET store, where you can find big promos all year round ! By opening this streetwear shop in July 2021, PXP wanted to show that it was for everyone !
Fashion Festival in Miramas
To mark our arrival in Miramas, we organized a Fashion Festival in November 2021 and May 2022, bringing together the cream of local street artists. Among them, the young and talented DJ Matt Mirter, the Marseilles fashion designer Anna Stezi, known for her creations made from recycling of football, baseball or basketball jerseys, who hosted a custom LAB or the SAF rapper who came to perform on the store’s roof for almost an hour! Finally, the southern franchise set up a personalization workshop for this period. Once their outfits were identified, customers could go and have them customized with a «Chemist» who would customize them with ultra-personal touches. Needless to say, it was a hit and that this event really hit the fans who love to stand out while wearing streetwear.

The crazy story between Yanns and Project X Paris
Building on this very successful Southern experience but also in a desire to extend its influence always beyond the capital, PXP recently opened a new store towards Amiens, in the heart of the Amiens Glisy shopping center. To celebrate this, the rapper Yanns, who ambiancé us all summer with his famous «Clic Clic Pan Pan», offered a signing session right in front of our shop! Coming in excess, the fans continued to parade to see their idol sapped, for the occasion, a bottom of surveillance as well as a beige PXP T-shirt! Ultra natural and generous, the artist did not count his hours and did not hesitate to pose with the team of the shop! At PXP we love this kind of simple and radiant personality !
