On Sunday June 11, 2023, the second edition of the Planète Rap soccer match will take place at the Auguste Delaune stadium in Bobigny, in support of the Abbé Pierre Foundation. The match will pit rappers against influencers. Project X Paris is a partner of the event, and we explain in detail.

Rappers and influencers unite against inadequate housing

While some of the new generation's rappers may seem less committed to society in their words, in their actions many artists are involved with associations or have set up their own. The same goes for influencers, whether they come from working-class neighborhoods or not, there is a real willingness to commit to causes. And unfortunately, with the rising cost of living, the growing number of precarious situations and environmental crises, there's no shortage of causes... All the more reason to do your bit, and this soccer match organized by Planète Rap in aid of the Abbé Pierre Foundation is a great opportunity to get involved in a rallying event.

Now in its second year, the event is sure to be another success. The friendly match will pit two mixed teams against each other, one made up of rappers and singers, the other of influencers and content creators. The match will take place on Sunday June 11 at 2pm, at Bobigny's Stade Auguste Delaune. A well-known stadium for rap and soccer fans, as it hosts FC 93, in which Sefyu is deeply involved. Admission is 5 euros, with all profits going to the Fondation Abbé Pierre to help in its fight against inadequate housing, a scourge which unfortunately affects more and more people (over 3 million people in France in 2020).

For this second edition, the match will once again be presented by the inexhaustible Fred Musa, who seems to be getting younger by staying so close to the new generation of artists and urban influencers. Fred won't be the only star at the game. In all, some fifty personalities make up the two teams, with, for the rappers, Beendo Z, Doria, Emkal, Fave, but also Fresh, the winner of Nouvelle École season 1, Gambi, Hatik (hero of Validé season 1), Kerchak, Kodes, MIG, Lyna Mahyem, Nahir, Soso Maness, Timal, Uzi, Sam's and many others. As for influencers, we'll also have a 5-star cast, with Just Riadh, Vargass, Boucif, Fares, KMS, Mamad, Medja, Iam Ilyess, Sheubo, Rafael Caplan, Ayoub Le Lion, Vasco, and many more, we'll be telling you more about them soon. Many more surprises are in store!

Project X Paris supports the Abbé Pierre Foundation with Skyrock

It's hard to imagine a more unifying event than a soccer match organized in aid of the Abbé Pierre Foundation, featuring rappers and influencers. Project X Paris didn't hesitate for a moment to get involved in the project and become a major partner of the event. We hope to see more initiatives of this kind, because as we said earlier, there's no shortage of causes to get involved in, and we're going to need all the goodwill we can muster to fight the scourge of inadequate housing.

Especially as the event lies at the crossroads of many of the areas we love at PXP: soccer, rap and content creators. In recent years, we've stepped up our partnerships with artists, influencers and the world of soccer, and some of our favorite rappers, such as Soso Maness, Timal and Uzi, will be taking part. So we couldn't miss the event. What's more, we're hoping to do our bit too, by being present at all the match venues on Sunday. And, we hope, we'll be able to share a great moment with all those who've come to fill the 1,500 seats at the Stade Auguste Delaune.

Over and above the cause, which is very close to our hearts and for which we'll be continuing to collaborate next year, the fact of joining forces with France's historic urban media, Skyrock, to raise funds for an association, is exactly the path we want to take at Project X Paris. Over the past few years, we've seen an increase in the number of major sporting events bringing together influencers and rappers (GP Explorer, Eleven All Stars, etc.), which seem to attract an ever-growing audience. So if we could link this trend to give strength to the associative world, for a good cause, it would be a shame to miss out, wouldn't it?

See you on Sunday June 11, 2023 in Bobigny, for a great time of fun and sharing. And for those who don't like soccer, don't worry, there are plenty of shows scheduled during the event! So don't hesitate.
