Revealed after an anthology freestyle that exploded social networks in 2018, KaNoé has already delivered two albums, and all before his 18th birthday. A true phenomenon in French rap, he is also very much in love with fashion and streetwear. Focus on one of the revelations of recent years.

In 2018, a very young rapper whose name nobody knew shocked the whole internet, and especially French rap fans. 13 years old, with a cigarette in his mouth (smoking is obviously dangerous for your health, and he says so himself in his interviews) and a rebellious air that was loud and clear: KaNoé entered the game with a powerful freestyle and incredibly mature lyrics for his age. The phenomenon was born. He could have become one of those precocious stars who disappear so quickly that nobody remembers them years later. But the French-Belgian Parisian rapper doesn't see it that way. He already has two albums to his name, all before he turned 18, and he's obviously not planning to stop there.

KaNoé is a true product of this young urban generation: gifted, resourceful, ambitious and with a perfect grasp of today's communication codes, as evidenced by his fairly strong presence on social networks, but also in the main influential media, like Konbini for example. With the release of "Savies" in 2020, followed by "Mauvaise Graine" in 2021, more and more media have welcomed him each time. It has to be said that the artist is interesting, diligent and rather technical compared to some of his competitors in rap fr.

But he is still at a turning point in his career. While his early music may have been reminiscent of Rémy's, the melancholy, cigarette-smoking, unknown young man has gradually disappeared, giving way to a young man who is being closely watched in the game, and who will need to continue working on his lyrics, as well as his image, if he is to make a lasting impact. And that's just as well, because on the one hand, he's varied his artistic proposition (even if drill and kickage seem to be his favorite ambiences) and is building a real identity, and on the other hand, he's also a big fan of sape and fashion, and is shaping an image in that area too.

Project X Paris validated by KaNoé

It's no coincidence that we've decided to tell you all about KaNoé at Project X Paris. The artist is into fashion and streetwear, like many of his fellow rappers. And he seems to like us a lot, at least as much as we like him! We've seen him in several interviews, including one in which he wears a hoodie. A rather simple, almost plain white model, with just a small logo on the chest. As we all know, simplicity can also be synonymous with effectiveness in streetwear, especially when it comes to a hoodie, the streetwear par excellence.

But his favorite PXP piece seems to be the unisex tracksuit All-over brush. One of our most popular models over the past two years, very popular with young rappers (Uzi had also really appreciated). KaNoé opted for the black tracksuit set, with the logos covering the entire garment. The jogging bottoms are particularly comfortable, and the tracksuit, as everyone knows, is one of the key pieces in the history of streetwear. In rap as in sape, the young rapper makes a point of respecting codes and history, as in the title of his first project, "Savies", the ancient name given to the Belleville area from which he hails. In France, this neighborhood is perhaps the epicenter of street culture and streetwear, and also a major breeding ground for rap.

It's an honor for our Project X Paris streetwear brand to be endorsed by talented young artists like KaNoé, who represent the new urban generation. A phenomenon that has emerged straight from the street thanks to the Internet, who knows and respects the codes of communication, rap and current style. Not to mention the origins of these movements, coming as he does from one of the hotbeds of French urban culture. Of course, we're hoping he'll have something big in store for 2022, although we're not too worried about that!
