This style, which draws its influence from the street and sports popular in the 1980s, such as skateboarding and basketball, is also strongly associated with the world of hip-hop. What's guaranteed its success for so many years? Comfortable, easily identifiable and ultra-looky garments that have become so widespread that they've infiltrated even the most preppy wardrobes! While in the early days, men's looks dominated the fashion scene, the trend has become more balanced! Women's lines are booming, and unisex collections are even appearing from the most avant-garde brands. Now everyone wants a hoodie, and the days when sneakers were reserved for men are well and truly over! It's no wonder that the sneaker market has gone a little crazy recently. More than just shoes, they've become sought-after objects in the same way as certain objets d'art. They're highly coveted, with some people devoting a veritable passion to them, and collectors of rare or original pieces are becoming more and more numerous!

Project X Paris, France's number 1 urban fashion brand, had to come up with a pair of sneakers to match your most sophisticated outfits! For this premiere, we've decided to present you with two models in five different colors that will fit in perfectly with your wardrobe. First of all, our signature model takes its cue from sneakers, also known as "tennis shoes". All-purpose, casual, stylish, vintage... the sneakers worn by tennis players in the 1980s have made a comeback. Conceived in the mid-1930s, thanks to the increasingly widespread use of rubber, these sneakers were among the first to be designed for a particular sport. With a flat, thick sole, as in those days, our women's and men's sneakers take up the codes of a shoe seen exclusively on tennis courts. Repainted, this white sneaker goes equally well with a casual or sporty style, or even with a well-tailored dress. For our part, we've chosen to rework and subtly combine this vintage look with very modern colors for an explosive contrast so dear to PXP! Whether black, white, green, orange or beige, these iconic men's and women's sneakers are a must-have that guarantee a flawless look! Basketball as a guideline
Because we like to play with styles, while remaining true to our DNA, we wanted to offer you several sneaker options. That's why we've worked on a second, more imposing men's sneaker inspired by the world of basketball. This white women's or men's sneaker also comes in beige for girls and black, brown or green for men. Massive and high-top, these sneakers are inspired by the coolest codes of the moment, drawing on the culture of Michael Jordan's and James Lebron's favorite sports. This street sport, very much in vogue in the most working-class neighborhoods in the US, has inspired streetwear fashion. The flashy colors, high socks and oversized look were largely inspired by basketball players! More than any other sport, basketball has influenced fashion, and many of the models seen on the court have been adapted for urban use, to the point where athleisure style has completely invaded our wardrobes.
