It's been a hot autumn in the south of France! On September 27, the biggest free invitational concert of the season took place in Miramas (Bouches-du-Rhône), and of course Project X Paris wasn't going to miss such an event.

The first edition of the Maritima Music Tour was a hit! The program featured a host of renowned French artists who entertained the Miramas Métropole Stadium for over 1 hour 30 minutes! It was pure madness for the 7,500 people who turned out. PXP decided to join the party by sponsoring the event. The staff wore PXP caps, and influencers Enzo Compton and lamechepilipili wore the brand's colors for the occasion. As if proof were needed, over the years Project X Paris has established itself as the benchmark for urban fashion. This is one of the reasons why the brand defends its values by multiplying meaningful collaborations, as well as making itself highly visible at major events such as the Maritima Music Tour!

Over-the-top atmosphere

The show kicked off at 8.30pm, and the atmosphere was electric as fans sang along to the choruses of their favorite singers. Among the artists on show were Amel Bent, who performed "Lossa", a track from her latest gold-selling album "Vivante", Shy'm, Yanns, La Petite Culotte, Mentissa, La Zarra and her hit "Tu t'en iras", Paga&Bengous, Alonzo, who set the stage alight with "Traficante", and the eagerly-awaited rapper from Marseilles. Naps who sang his "Best Life". Naps is one of our favorite artists at Project X Paris. This multi-faceted artist from Marseilles has made a name for himself with his heavy contribution to the 100% Phocéan project "13'Organisé", as well as with the release of his latest solo album, "Les Mains Faites pour l'or". This protean rapper has released a total of 6 solo albums, all quite different from one another, as well as several platinum discs. Highly appreciated and recognized by his peers, a number of artists who carry a lot of weight in the industry have agreed to take the microphone alongside him. They include Jul, Zaho, SCH, Manny, Le Rat Luciano and Soolking. All good stuff!

Naps and PXP: The collab

While the Marseilles rapper stands out for his big sound, he is also noted for his assertive style. So it was an obvious choice for Project X Paris to get closer to this raw talent, who gladly accepted the collab! Among the outfits we were happy to have him don were the blue and green tie and dye outfits, as well as the outfit featuring the PXP brush logos! This distinctive ensemble is just as popular with men as it is with women, who love to play with the matchy-matchy look! Very comfortable with his image, the rapper takes on all styles and likes to dare, even if it means surprising, but as in music, the returns are always winning! It's this very offbeat side that won us over!

While her urban culture universe is very similar to ours, we also share a taste for colorful outfits like Miami Vice-style short-sleeved shirts and two-tone pastel shorts! Naps is an assertive personality who's not afraid to wear some pretty extravagant outfits.

However, the rapper from Marseilles doesn't always go overboard, so he's also a fan of more sedate styles, such as no-frills tracksuit bottoms paired with simple hoodies in sober colors featuring our brand's signature logo.

Marseille, capital of urban culture

Naps is not the only one to dare: in recent years, Marseilles rappers such as Jul and Soso Maness have helped shake up the streetwear scene to the point of becoming true influencers. Their flashy, colorful style is 1000 times recognizable! For some years now, Marseille has been at the center of many influences, perfectly in tune with the urban culture of the moment, and even ahead of it, becoming a real reference point that everyone loves to ogle at. So it was unthinkable not to set up shop in the south of France to showcase our collections. While Marseille boasts a number of boutiques, notably in the heart of the city on the very commercial Rue Saint-Fé, PXP is also present in the surrounding towns, notably at the McArthurGlen shopping center in Miramas Provence. This open-air shopping center, located at the crossroads of the Bouches-du-Rhône's main freeways, is ultra-frequented by customers from all over the region in search of ultra-stylish clothes at reduced prices. In fact, the Miramas shop (located 1 hour from Marseille) is an OUTLET store, where you'll find huge special offers all year round! By opening this streetwear store in July 2021, PXP wanted to show that it was for everyone!

Fashion Festival in Miramas

To mark our arrival in Miramas, in November 2021 and May 2022 we are organizing a Fashion Festival bringing together the crème de la crème of local street artists. Among them were the young and talented DJ Matt Mirter, Marseille-based fashion designer Anna Stezi, known for her creations made from recycled soccer, baseball and basketball shirts, who hosted a custom LAB, and rapper SAF, who performed on the store's roof for almost 1 hour! Last but not least, the southern franchise set up a customization workshop for this period. Once they'd spotted their outfits, customers could have them customized by a "Chemist", who added ultra-personal touches. Needless to say, the event was a big hit with sartorial enthusiasts who like to stand out from the crowd while wearing streetwear.

The crazy story of Yanns and Project X Paris

On the strength of this highly successful southern experience, and with a view to extending his influence beyond the capital, PXP recently opened a new store in Amiens, in the heart of the Amiens Glisy shopping center. To celebrate, the rapper Yanns who kept us entertained all summer with his famous "Clic Clic Pan Pan", offered a signing session right in front of our shop! Fans turned out in droves to see their idol, dressed for the occasion in a beige PXP t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms! Ultra-natural and generous, the artist didn't count his hours and didn't hesitate to pose with the shop team! At PXP, we love this kind of simple, radiant personality!
