Last May, the McArthurGlen shopping center in Miramas rolled out the red carpet for a Fashion Festival. It was an opportunity for us, who opened a shop there almost a year ago, to bring together the key players in local urban culture.
We set the Miramas Fashion Festival on fire and got everyone on their feet. The event, which took place from May 25 to 27 in the McArthurGlen zone in Miramas, not far from Marseille, decided to go all out. Guests from the region's cultural scene came to liven up the Miramas. Among them, young DJ Matt Mirter, who wore a checkered shirt from the TILES capsule for the occasion, was at the turntables on May 25 and 26 to set the shop alight with the best sounds! This DJ and producer, who released his first EP in 2019 at just 19, is a young talent as we like them at PXP!
Upcycling for greater enjoyment
At the same time, Marseille-based fashion designer Anna Stezi hosted a custom LAB. Known for her creations made from recycled soccer, baseball and basketball jerseys, she performed with her sewing machine in front of a curious and enthusiastic audience. With these upcycled fabrics, the artist creates dresses, bobs, skirts, t-shirts and bodysuits. Wearing jersey has never been so sexy! Present at the Fashion Festival by Project X Paris, the young Phocéenne created exclusive accessories with garments from our collections that had a defect and therefore couldn't be put on the shelves. She didn't hesitate to completely rethink the initial piece, taking only the aspects that interested her and giving it a second life in a completely new guise. A cardboard box!

And to round off these few days, rapper Saf, the new rising star of the RAP scene made in Marseille, was present. It was sheer madness, and a crowd of fans turned out to hear him perform for over 1 hour! Installed on the store's roof, the young artist from Marseilles proudly wore the brand's colors and the GRAFFITI capsule. The Marseilles rapper, who collaborated on the "Classico Organisé" mixtape featuring the crème de la crème of Marseilles and French capital rappers under Jul's leadership, unveiled tracks from his recently-released debut album, "Au pied du mur". After his show, the 23-year-old artist went out to meet his fans, who were waiting for him in a very enthusiastic atmosphere! To thank the Project X Paris fans who turned out for the Fashion Festival, an avalanche of gifts poured in throughout the artist's performance.
Streetwear reference
With this major event, Project X Paris has established itself even more firmly as THE benchmark for culture. streetwear. Present in trend-setting cities such as Dubai, Berlin, London, Los Angeles and Paris... Project X Paris does not hesitate to set up streetwear shops in places where it is less expected. By opening this streetwear store in July 2021 in McArthurGlen, located at the crossroads of the Bouches-du-Rhône's main freeways, the brand is proving that it caters for everyone!
